If only can newton was with Dallas. He's better than people think.

Seriously waitin on Dallas to trade Romo to Carolina for Newton. It'll be BEST for both teams.

I'm a Cam Newton bandwagon. Still a falcons fan doe.

We need Cam Newton to come play for the ATL Falcons!!

I'm more excited to watch cam newton now than I am the falcons..#sadtruth

I want Cam Newton to come play for the vikes. Just over here dreaming.

Cam newton needs to come to the Vikings!!!

I hate Cam Newton because he's too good for a third year player and doesn't play for the MN Vikings.

The Jets need a leader like Cam Newton. That was a really good football game to the end.

I think having Cam Newton on the Browns would solve some things.

After that play I would trade every pick in the draft this year and a first rounder next year for the Browns to get Cam Newton.

(There's like a thousand Browns fans wanting Cam)

I wish the Ravens had Cam Newton

Im reminded by the scene in Rocky 3 after Rocky gets beat by Clubber Lang and the scene when Creed, Rocky and Pauly are in the living room watching TV and the sports analysts are criticizing Rocky, pauly says "Dont listen to it Rock." Then Apollo replies; "No, do listen to it Rock! Because when its over, everyone is going to owe you an engraved apology."

Cam is Rocky, and people owe him an engraved apology.

I love it

Ive been watching Espn all day long. Cam is getting alot of praise for his maturity and his dedication to preparation. However multiple people have brung up his 1st down celebration pose( skip bayless, steven A, Herm edwards, etc). I love Cam to death, thats my quarterback but i do not like the first down pose at all, never have and never will. the pose just rubs me the wrong way and im always like why are you doing that now its just a first. I really want him to stop. wanted to know what the huddle thought about this.

P.S  The Superman Celebration its totally deserved for touchdowns

i just dont think its necessary. i love Cam and i want him to have fun. but its no point of celebrating a 1st down if the drive doesnt end in a touchdown. he is our franchise quarterback so comparing him to what a receiver does doesnt make sense. like i said celebration for touch idc but a first down just isnt worth it to me

my bottomline is this. i just dont think its neccessary. all im saying

#neverforget

People are finally waking up and seeing what those of us who believed in Cam from the beginning see. He is a unique talent like no other in the league. The other young qbs don't compare and nobody before him has had his unique skill set. Most importantly he has won at every level and will at this level too. It was only a matter of time. They are jealous as they should be. He is going to become one of the primary faces of the NFL, just like Michael, Kobe and LeBron were and are.

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
