*Spoiler Alert: Tanneyhill suffers an injury, Matt Moore finishes the game , throws 2 picks.

Lol I forgot about Moore. Wouldn't that be poo if he came in and won the game. What a meltdown that'd ensue..

I can see us coming out kind of flat with a score close to the Patriots score at halftime. But we've been good in the 2nd half this year so I see us pulling away in the 3rd, a far cry from the past 2 seasons

31-13 panthers. I see this game playing out much like the Vikings game. With no running game to speak of for the dolphins we hold a huge lead in TOP and wear out their defense. The only way the Dolphins win is if we turn the ball over and they capitalize on a short field, otherwise they are not going 80 and 85 yards on us.

HA...........closer than expected........the line is 4 points.  Listen, I understand this is a Panther Fan Site...........but if you look back at the Phins games this season, they've all gone down to the wire with the exception of the NO game.  This game will be very close..........take the Phins @ home...........20-16.

Take the Panthers on the road 24-17

-We will stuff their run game

-Tannehill won't have time to wait for deep routes

(I kno Wallace can get there fast, but Keek and co. have got to kno its comin. Cap & Mitchell will blanket him.)

-Shula will dial up a balanced atttack

-Cam will go thru progressions and run when there isn't anything there.

Tip...Unless you have mad money you just want to lose bet the Panthers to cover the spread.  Note...The home team is always awarded three points, so reality is Panthers  plus seven.

Didn't you have a 14 point lead at halftime to New England only to get outscored 24-0 in the second half 4 weeks ago?  Was that down to the wire??

Depends on which Dolphins team shows up honestly.

24-16 L

or

23-20 W for Miami

We should have little trouble putting the Dolphins away Sunday, though it may be late in the game..As we all know, the maturation of Cam Newton from his second season to his third has been remarkable. And to be honest his second season wasn’t all that bad. This will be nothing but  bad news for the Dolphins.

Cam will harass the Miami defense, especially the secondary all day with Smitty and  Olson. Also watch  Cam to move in and out of the pocket to avoid the rush a lot. This could be another signature game for Cam in his taking the rightful place amongst the NFL’s elite.

NO is also the last time you lost to a team that was actually in the middle of playing good ball.

All the close games also were against teams during spans when were having issues of some kind and not playing good football.

We are rolling

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
