Not that it matters in this game, but shouldn't we still have officially "won" the challenge since it was a fumble, even though it wasn't clear we had possession? We challenged that the ball was down by contact after all.

actually you are right there, I think that we challenged that there was a fumble, and there was - so we shoulda gotten the TO, even tho we didnt get the ball.  not that it matters here, but still

Instant Replay is pointless if they can't get calls right with it.  I wish that they would take it out of the control of these on field refs.  Lets the league office decide these calls.  Just like the NHL does.
