Smitty wants this playoff run bad

Smitty knows better than almost anyone on that team that chances like this don't happen all the time. He wants a ring and he deserves a damn ring.

I'd risk my knee and some pain if I'm at the twilight of my career and have a chance to get that Lombardi as my finale.  Since it's Smitty we're talking about multiply that by 1000.

A tad off topic..

Those who are worried about the Bye if we secure at least the #2 seed..

We have right now the #1 ranked defense.. playing at home. I'll take that any day. If we cant win off of a bye, then we don't deserve poo. It gives us time to rest up, and get healthy.

Arizona proved to be a pretty damn good team. what 10-5? beat Seattle IN Seattle? Yeah, and we were on pace to win that game if it weren't for completely demoralizing drops. Plus, if i remember correctly, we played them close till the end.

WE COULD EASILY BE 16-0!! THINK ABOUT THAT

edit: forgot about the saints game at the Dome..   STILL 15-1!!

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
