We're probably the only team that they can make storylines with any potential AFC opponent.

Broncos: hey! Remember when john fox coached the panthers? Let's recap this 12000 times over the next two weeks!

P.S. hey do you also remember that time Jerry Richardson talked to watermelon head Peyton Manning like a disgruntled grandpa talks to his grandson when he's making too much noise and M*A*S*H is on? Let's open that wound!

Colts: hey remember when Andrew Luck shitcanned declaring a year early because Carolina had the number 1 pick? Here's 30 minutes worth of a recap!

Chargers: hey this Ron Riviera guy used to coach for SD! Let's put up a million irrelevant defensive stat graphics from 2007-2010!

Patriots: So these two teams played TEN years ago in the same game and now they're back it's cray! Let's cut to john kasay fuging up the last kickoff again and again!

plus we have all kinds of interesting characters.

(in no particular order)

cam

smitty

kraken

tolbert (guaranteed he would be on the next dancing with the stars if the panthers go to the superbowl)

thomas davis (3 ACL surgeries can be talked about forever)

kalil (well, he's funny anyway and from southern cal so media people like him)

keuchly (boring, but the chicks dig him and the football geeks love him)

mike mitchell (just has a big mouth, but still...it's headline stuff)

olsen (looks like thor and has twins, one of them having heart issues)

what do the other teams have? a whole bunch of boring, that's what.

The fan base of the team or teams involved in a Super Bowl isn't the most important factor in viewership; it's how competitive the game is. Our Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004 was the most watched (89.7 million viewers) since Super Bowl XXXII (Denver/Green Bay, 90.0 million viewers) in 1998.

Funny enough, the least watched Super Bowl since 1995 was the one that the Falcons made and got destroyed in.

Actually, I find the Panthers the most entertaining team to watch in all of the NFL................

The have a great defense with potentials for lots of sacks and turnovers.

Their offense has the x factor with Cam........you just don't know what he is going to do next.

Last I checked.........isn't the NFL Sports entertainment?

The Panthers manage to win while making unpredictable plays to hang on at the end..........that's suspense and they do it more often than any other team this year.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
