Buck is not bad, just boring and monotoned. Collinsworth is smug and relates everything to his playing days. And God forbid the Panthers are losing in the game he's calling (or any team that's for that matter) because he just piles on the accolades to the winning team at an unfathomable pace.

Besides the awkwardness of calling a big play, I really like joe buck's play by play. If he had a better color commentator you'd hardly even notice the lack of enthusiasm after a 4th down conversion

At the end of the 2nd Saints game when Hixon caught the TD pass, neither he nor Aikman said a word for maybe 12-15 seconds so the TV audience could hear the crowd and soak in the on field celebration.

 

He's smart enough to know that sometimes less is more.

Collinsworth is terrible.

I was at the '05 Super Bowl (after we just lost to Seattle) and that jerk was in line right behind me for the bathroom. My drunk a$$ said "The Panthers will be in the Super Bowl next year" and he laughed directly in my face. The fact that he was right is completely irrelevant.

I was at that super bowl in detroit as well and we sat next to kenny mayne and his wife. Upper level endzone. Went to the bathroom and took a leak next to mo rocca. Jim belushi was in line in front of us at the concession stand buying beer. Celebs everywhere. Its the super bowl.
