This Interview. Sorry but I wanted to make this into it's own thread, because it needs to be brought to everyone's attention. He talks about how tough it's been without Smith and can't wait to go back to his normal role, has no desire to strive for success. I don't want losers like that on my team. I'm not one of those "post lost cut everybody" type of guys, but he needs to go. See ya Donald

I believe you're reading too much into this interview. That being said, LaFell is about as valuable to this team as a piece of parsley on a plate at a fine dining establishment.

Yeah, he had an opportunity and sounds like he didn't want to step up. I have never heard a player say things like that. unless they retire the next day.

Panthers need a big, tall #1 on the outside. Steve Smith in the slot. Maybe another "professional receiver" or pass catching/running TE, and Ted Ginn

 

That's the 4 you would want. Lafell, can either sit the side line (as a situational blocker who could catch), or be cut!

 

Brandon cost Cam too many INT's this year with tipped balls, while dropping many big potential passes as well. And he has shown scant ability to go u[ amd get balls against DB's he's already taller than.

He didn't drop that interception. The ball was thrown high and behind him. You really don't want your receiver to make ESPNs top 10 on a 5 yard pass do you? Cam has got to be more consistent. Sign Lafell to a short contract and light a fire under his ass.
