Almost like the Steve Smith syndrome opposing fans feel about our 89. That being said, Smitty isn't crusted over douche residue like Graham.

I would take him over Hardy, and him being from NC makes things interesting. Plus he is getting a taste of RR this week. I think what we gain with Graham outweighs what we lose with Hardy. This D will still be very good without Hardy, and signing Graham would allow us more flexibility to draft for defense to replace Hardy. We know how hit or miss WR can be in the draft, and signing Graham would be sure production. Could you even imagine how good we would be with Cam, Tolbert, Luke, Star, TD, CJ, Olsen, Smitty, Graham, plus our 1st round pick?

I think technically when he lines up in the slot it isn't necessarily classified as a WR snap. His TE snaps "officially" outweigh his wideout snaps just barely.

As long as we have a back-up plan for when we face a physical defense (which already includes The Bucs in our division), then fine. However, this prick is seeking 60+ million. Not worth it.

Especially when there are a couple of guys who are considered Graham/Gronk like in Ebron and Seferian-Jenkins, both of which are better blockers than Graham. ASF is mostly compared to Gronk with his blocking Size/playmaking combo..which at a rookie salary better than signing Graham and losing out on Hardy.

Jesus, the Huddle, at times, is a joke. You guys are talking about signing a WR pretending to play TE (blows at blocking) and who can't handle physicality from safeties and linebackers that are much smaller than him. Our defense will suffer if we lose Hardy mainly because our secondary depends on the pass rush.

 

Yeah because signing a guy who has 3,800 yards and 41 touchdowns in four NFL seasons is a joke...

I read where they would split the difference betweem TE n WR if agreeing to a tag. It happened to another player.. Its all blurry.. It was on PFT like a month ago.

Ths would be a better, more informative post otherwise.

Also Brees said he would restruture for more years if it helps the cap. Aka help sign Graham.

Regardless this will kill the team from adding much to improve their defense..which is awesome bc they are still converting personnell to Ryan's scheme.... Of course this means somehow they sign Gaham and Revis to 2 15 million per year contracts.
