Got some bad news today

Father found out he has prostate cancer today. Doctors giving him about 3 to 5 years to live without some type of major surgery or chemo. Prayers are welcome.

Cancer sucks. If you ever lost a family member to cancer, you wouldn't wish that poo on anyone. My mom died from it 3 yrs ago and never smoked or drinked in her life. Makes you wonder why someone like that would ever get such a horrible thing.

I've went thru p-cancer a little over 10 years ago, so I know how you're feeling right now. There are so many more treatment options and p-cancer does not have to be fatal. Mine was caught very early on and I went through chemo, which basically kicks your ass for a day or so. If you care to talk, drop me a PM...

 

My thoughts are with you and don't let this get you down. Rather, use it as a rallying point to bring your family together and fight through it as a team.
