CJ is a more complete player. very overpayed but also very underrated.

Toss up. Greg is more dynamic and faces off against the team's best blocker at LT, but Chuck is more consistent, better against the run but less likely to make that game changing play.

CJ provides a veteran leadership that has played a vital role in elevating the defense's mentality..

 

Greg Hardy is that crazy mofuger everyone wants on their team and has the ability to not only anchor the DL facing the LT but also versatile enough to play anywhere on DL.

 

CJ has that ability as well...

 

 

you want both..  if you had to choose then it depends on if you think Hardy can be groomed to replace CJ's leadership if you side on his youth...

I'd call it equal. Beyond that, they compliment each other very well in terms of strengths and weaknesses. They're a pair that make each other look better.

It's really a shame that the odds are against them remaining together.

CJ. Remember the year before this past? 12.5 and 7 forced fumbles? That is fuging crazy. Very stout against the run, I think hardy is on the same level as him there though

Hardy has a knack for coming up with insane stats in a couple games. CJ is more consistent. Hardy is a fuging monster though

I love Hardy, but the truth is that he feasts on weak opposition.  Kind of the opposite of Peppers.  Peppers would disappear against weak OTs.  Hardy feasts on them.  But, how many sacks is he getting against quality competition?

This is the key to Hardy's value. Big Money is consistent. Hardy will go quiet for weeks in the pass rush department. Someone is going to offer several trucks of money to Hardy, and they will get an excellent DE, but he will disappear at times.
