Guess the BofA Attendance Percentage

SCP

Recommended Posts

I will admit, I am the resident Debbie Downer when it comes to disappoint in Panther fans at BofA stadium. I also spend a lot of time on the toilet and I like to enjoy games while pooping. I'm sitting here looking at my PSL packet and the home game slate has some good ones against teams with diabeetus ridden fat asshole fanbases that call Charlotte home. I can already see thousands of my fellow PSL owners circling the games they plan to sell to opposing fans. I have decided to combine my hatred for opposing fans and my disappointment in Panther fans to create a toilet game. So I invite you to join me in a little game of "2014 Guess The Percentage of Opposing Team Losers in BofA"

Team: Percentage of Opposing Ass Hats:

Bears 40%

Browns 35%

Lions 25%

Steelers 55%

Seahawks 25%

Taints 15%

Bucs 10%

Falcons 15%

Seahawks 20%

Taints 16.5%

Bucs 12%

Falcons 20%

I was going to go with 85% for the Steelers as well but I need to see if that will be a prime time game first. If it's prime time I say 55%, if it's a Sunday game it will be 80-85%.

I think you are high on the Browns... CLT is flooded with Ohio refugees but not many of them are willing to be seen in public wearing Browns gear (and I can't really blame them).

If I was betting today I'd play the under but if the Browns are good then those 1985 orange Starter jackets with chili and mustard stains will be out in full force.

Only thing that scares me is if the Browns can overcome poor management and get a starting QB plus draft Sammy Watkins to bookend Josh Gordon. If they start off the year strong we might see all the Ohio transplants come out of the woodwork and show up. The Browns are a talented team that just need stability in coaching and management, sadly that's been the case for a decade.

With ticket prices going up I can see where Panther fans like the idea of fleecing steeler fans who migrate from the trailer parks to see their team once a year.  I will have no problem being surrounded by them.  It makes it all the sweeter when we beat that ass and send them home to beat the family dog in frustration.  At least prices for scalped tickets will be way up and I will have the satisfaction of knowing that they paid more than me for once instead of the other way around for the past several years.

There's going to be a ton of Ohio transplants and Browns fans at the Panthers/Browns game this year. People always say that Charlotte is "Buffalo south" - but I'd be willing to bet there's more Ohio/NE Ohio people here than anywhere else. Pittsburg is only like 2 hours away from the Cleveland area. There's a shitload of people down here from that area. My GF is from Akron, OH and her family of Browns fans are already planning the trip down here for the Browns/Panthers game.

i remember the browns fans showing out in 2006 to watch freaking charlie frye.  they had chants going entering the gates.

if they're good this coming season then forget about it

Yes I was at this game. I have plenty of experience with Browns fans and they are very passionate. They are also VERY delusional. Browns are one of the worst franchises in the NFL and with the circus that's been going on up there the past 2 months; I don't expect it to change anytime soon.

I have to go to a wedding up there next week and I can promise you the Browns fans I talk to will already be talking playoffs lol.

    • I've really only begun to pay attention this week being that training camp is looming, so I was personally caught off guard by the fact that Nic Scourton remains unsigned. That's not necessarily bad news, but it's not necessarily good news either. Apparently it's a thing with this year's draft class. "Of the 32 players selected in the second-round, 30 remained unsigned and the clock is ticking. "Already we've seen one second-round pick hold out from the start of training camp with that player being Los Angeles Chargers' wide receiver Tre Harris. Harris did not report with the rest of the Chargers' rookies on Saturday due to his contract situation, a issue that could impact nearly every other team in the league. "For the Panthers, defensive end Nic Scourton is the player to watch for when rookies start showing back up to the team facilities next week. "The 51st overall pick is one of the 30 second-rounders who has yet to sign their rookie contract and the reason why is due to the other two that have actually signed. "Cleveland Browns' linebacker Carson Schwesinger and Houston Texans' wide receiver Jayden Higgins each signed fully guaranteed contracts as the first and second players drafted in the second-round. Prior to this year, second-round picks never received a fully guaranteed deal, only players selected in the first-round." https://atozsports.com/nfl/carolina-panthers-news/panthers-nic-scourton-contract-second-round-pick-training-camp-hold-out-tre-harris/ So, I suppose we'll see what's what pretty soon. It's definitely something to monitor.
    • overwhelming majority of kids in travel ball aren't getting scholarships though because most teams are rec caliber (and not watched by scouts)    and parents/leagues sort of helped create this system and narrative IMO where travel ball is now oversaturated and most of it is simply expensive rec ball.  is travel beneficial for some athletes to get more exposure? Sure. The ones travel actually existed for.   I still think travel has expanded entirely too broad at this stage......where they will now have 5 teams per year in your backyard area pending they can get parents to write those checks.   Ain't no scout ever laying eyes on 90%+ of the kids in travel ball at this stage of where it has morphed into.
    • Im really curious to see how the defense is going to look once its playing with some leads.
