1. Cooks

2. Benjamin

3. Austin S-J

4. Moncrief

5.Robinson

6. Mewhort

7. Hurst

8. Fuller

9. Purifoy

10. Yankey (becaue having a McNutt and Yankey on the same team is too good to pass up)

Hardest decision: Benjamin vs. Beckham, Jr.  Size won out even though I'd be happy with either.

Favorites: Benjamin, Beckham Jr., AustinS-J, Moncrief, Hurst, Yankey

Bolded are my picks. Those without bold I'm indifferent due to lack of familiarity with either one or both of the prospects.

Favorites are ASJ, KB, Matthews and Yancy.

Hardest? None. OBJ vs Cooks would have been tough.

1. Cooks because he didn't have the injuries Lee's had. I think Gettleman will favour Lee though, because of his size.

2. OBJ easily. Benjamin's was supposed to be the unpolished freak athlete. Well, he didn't look all that fast in the combine, so really, all you're getting is an unpolished possession receiver who wasn't even that feisty.

3. Can I pick neither? Depends on ASJ's medical. Right now if I had to choose, Jace Amaro. I don't think he's worthy of a 1st round pick though.

4. Matthews. He's got a chance of being a 1st round pick, now that he ran that impressive 40. I don't like receivers who haven't posted 1000 yard seasons in college. Production is still, imo, the most important factor in drafting a receiver.

5. Robinson. Better acceleration and more dangerous after the catch.

8. Roberson. I saw Fuller get burned multiple times playing deep zone coverage. We seem to run quite a bit of that.

10. Yankey, becase he was an all-American LT in 2012. I thought he would be a clear BPA at 28, but I don't know how much his combine performance has hurt him.

1. Not sold on either, but I'd go with Lee. Lee grades out as an outside WR, and he has the added size which will help when Cam throws it up a little high. Cook is a slot WR and we don't have a 2, or may be even a 1.

2. Benjamin is my choice. He is a big match up problem for opposing DBs and he grades out as an outside WR. Beckham is an inside guy.

3. Jenkins is my choice here, as Amaro doesn't excite me as much at the NFL level.

4. I honestly can't decide. Either would be fantastic, though I like Matthews larger hand size and wingspan.

5. Hard choice, but I'd go with Adams because he's more proven in college. They both feel very similar.

6. James is the easy choice for me here.

7. Bitonio, really close though.

8. I think Greg Robinson is the better choice because he grades out as a better immediate starter.

9. Going Roby because I think he better translates to the NFL.

10. Hard to decide but I'll go Yankey.

The Kelvin Benjamin vs. Odell Beckham Jr. pick was tough. I see the allure of each guy. Took the guy with bigger upside.

I love Brandin Cooks and Kyle Fuller. I think they will both be day 1 contributors and play at a high level for many years.

Which decision was the hardest for you to make? Who are your favorites from the list above?

1. Cooks -feisty and pound for pound the best WR in the draft

2. Benjamin -athletic freak from a pro style offense

3. Amaro -solid and polished in-line hogger

4. Matthews -high character with all the measurables

5. Adams -better hands and more focused

6. Mewhort -team captain and high IQ can anchor a balanced pro team

Edit. Mewhort is a LT, James a RT. I do like James, great personality but he needs to build his muscle and I wonder how serious he is in the weight room. More of a project and not likely to make the transition to LT which is where Cam is gonna need a no-nonsense, weight room junkie with an IQ to match

7. Hurst -could be a steal if he falls to the 4th and I think we draft him and thank our lucky stars. Having to rehab a broken leg will put him heavily in the weight room which will cement his mindset and build on an already strong work ethic. Broken legs are stronger after they heal, (if they heal properly,) and definitely will be a big character building experience.

Hardest choice was Amaro because I didn't get to see ASJ in combines. Amaro is a great blocking TE who can still get downfield for a big play. They are both great and I wouldn't be mad with either at #28

Favorite is Benjamin and working with Proehl and Cam is the best shot at becoming an elite #1 receiver who is so physically imposing inside and out. A serious red zone threat and high riser that can manhandle secondaries. He shined on the biggest stage and a born champion and winner. Played with a future franchise QB on a balanced team and was the go-to guy. What's not to like?

1. Brandin Cooks

I think Cooks is the better all around player, as far as receivers go. Lee scares me to death. Not only does he have an injury history, he played for a toxic team in LA, and we all know how USC receivers end up.

2. Kelvin Benjamin

3. Jace Amaro

4. Jordan Matthews

5. Davante Adams

6. Jack Mewhort

7. Joe Bitonio

8. Kyle Fuller

Which decision was the hardest for you to make? Who are your favorites from the list above?

My favorites are Matthews, Su'a-Filo, and Davante Adams. I think those three guys will have an immediate impact in the NFL, at a very, very high level, and will continue to produce as their careers progress.

The hardest decision for me has to be Hurst vs. Bitonio. I like Hurst a lot. He produced against Clowney/Beasley, and showed up all season at a very high level. Bitonio is incredible, but he played against lesser talent. However, I think the leg break, and missing these couple months of training, sets Bitonio ahead in the short-term, which is more than enough for me to take him over Hurst because I believe both players have similar upside.

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
