That is my point.

This really never had to get as ugly as it's getting. Then they (the Panthers FO) are letting this drag on for no reason. Which is enabling this situation to get uglier and more played out in the media.

I UNDERSTAND THE DECISION. I only have a problem with the execution of this and wish Gettelmen had handled this better.

This isn't a scrub who never did nothing for the team.

This is best player in team history. A little more discretion would have been better.

Show me a link to any statement from the Panthers that says "we are getting rid of Steve Smith". I have yet to see one official statement regarding impending trade or release from the team of Steve Smith. As far as I can see they haven't said poo about any of their plans.
