CB is one of the depleted areas of the team and anytime we can fill a hole with a good athlete is fine by me. The more athletic the better. 4.45 forty, 20-reps back in '08. Captain was 4.5 and 19...not to mention Cason has 4 inches in height on CM. clearly more athletic based upon raw measurables alone. Nickle back for sure. Great replacement and upgrade for Captain

Well, it's not exactly saying much.  On paper, Cason SHOULD be our best CB since Gamble.

I am confident in Rivera and DG to find guys that can play in their system. 

 

What I am not confident about is Shula and his play calling.

I like the fact that he played well with Rivera.  I've only heard his name, not really followed.  I think if a guy is talented, but had a kind of down year, coming to a place like Carolina with a great front 7 where you can improve your value is a great idea.  Hopefully he signs, and can play well for us.

Voth has been 100% correct about everything he has reported this offseason. Cason will sign.
