Fargo on FX

The Coen brothers are executive-producing the show and it’s set to run for 10 episodes.

 

And now the 1996 movie is the basis for a new FX series that debuts tonight. While the Coen brothers’ film centered on a car salesman (William H. Macy) who decides to make a fortune by having his wife kidnapped and keeping part of the reward for himself, the TV version of “Fargo” focuses on a man named Lester Nygaard, an insurance salesman. Billy Bob Thornton stars as a drifter named Lorne Malvo who, according to FX, “meets and forever changes the life of [Lester].”

yeah I'm gonna check it out. I tried to get into that FX show about the bridge/mexican drug cartel or whatever but wasn't hooked after the first two episodes and kinda lost track of it.

I have only seen the movie a couple of times. I stopped watching good movies over and over, so they stay good. Star Wars puts me to sleep now. :(

This is taking the same time slot as "Justified," now that series is done for the season. Been seeing trailers for it on FX for weeks now and have the DVR set to record it....

 

...and have you seen the make-up work they do on William H. Macy on "Shameless?" Pretty fuggin' good....
