  1. Past hour
  2. They're both very talented. In the long run I think not getting the award will make Kon even better.
  3. Unfortunately for the Hornets the Hawks have won more playoff series games in one postseason than we have in 11 years. Probably not the best position to be mocking others.
  4. Today
  5. are the games replayed? My new work schedule has me in bed by 8:30
  6. Basically. Their blind spot for this guy is amazing. They've upgraded every room in the building except the QB room.
  7. Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!
  8. Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
  9. I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
  10. I honestly question play calling a lot more towards the end of last season than Bryce’s play. I’m not sold on Canales as an offensive mind, I haven’t seen the advantage he gives on that side of the ball. Maybe that changes with the new coordinator so that will be something to look for. Either way I’m not falling for the same hook line sinker again this offseason. I hope we don’t settle for a qb just because of some weird attachment issues we seem to have as an organization to Bryce. I’d rather start the search for a qb again, now with a much more stable team and front office, then getting hooked for multiple years with a qb that under performs and is overpaid
  11. Cam Newton would make an a pretty good TE.
  12. He basically said he is here as a QB and then what I said already. It is in the E White video, the first of two posted here
  13. I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
  14. Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice. But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
  15. This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
  16. Guessing the price is too rich here given the injury history. 2024 was brutal and production dropped off in 2025 with a few more injuries (albeit rough qb play). Don’t really understand the narrative that Young can’t benefit from talented upgrades on offense. Especially here with respect to a tight end. Any QB will benefit from talented receivers that threaten the top of coverage and tight ends with skills to stress zone. The age and injury history, coupled with what he’s likely asking, just probably means we can better spend that money elsewhere.
  17. The little bit I watched he does look a bit awkward. Also just an FYI because I have heard talk saying he will be used like Taysom Hill - Morgan says no he doesn’t see him as having that skill set.
  18. I'm not gon lie, his playstyle reminds me SO MUCH of Jaxson Dart. Damn near exactly the same build too. If nothing else, I could see him being used like a Temu Taysom Hill near the goal line.
  19. Evans needs this year to see how he grew. Sanders had a sophomore slump. Both are in their evaluation windows and have shown promise. And personally, I do not believe our QB can utilize a stud TE to the point that major investment is warranted. So there is that.
  20. Gronk, Dallas Clarke, Kittle, etc. all say helloooo
  21. He can’t even learn to run routes. No chance in hell he can do both that and pick up blocking schemes
  22. Well he had essentially a 70% completion rate for almost three thousand yards. Biggest issues were awkward and inconsistent release. I wouldn't call arm strength bad, but not great.
  23. I see him being better and most of that is a few downfield passes that were seemingly non existent. But it is what is around him that has dictated the trajectory more than the quarterbacking. He is game manager level and unable to dictate to defenses. And even if I am wrong and he is the reason we ‘upwarded’, we are bumping our heads on the ceiling and only making meager gains. If it is an incline it is awfully shallow degree wise. Like a finance graph that tracks your progress and hovers around the rate of inflation. Barely breaking even. Is that where you want your money? We make up these deadlines expectations and generally he does the minimum of what he needs to do to hang around. It does not encourage me to believe that when we get into a game against a good run d that we cannot break down with our run game, to believe that we can pivot to the air and successfully counter their strategy. But they run it back again. Of course I am gunshy of a repeat of the same thing we have watched for three years. oh, and yes his durability is his most impressive positive for my money. I fear the other shoe dropping on that and the contractual consequences that will follow. Last of all, too late to edit my mistake here but would like to acknowledge it: the last three years has done very little to convince me that I was not wrong in not wanting him. One too many “not”s.
  24. I was originally on the main Panther board when it shut down. I joined the other board, don't remember the name. Then I came over here a month later after that. Was it 2005? I have only had 3 warnings in 21 years. I should get a fuging reward. No suspensions either. I rule.
