I find it funny that these guys sign up for this job after multiple meeting with Tepper. Coaches or GMs who 'didn't interview well' or decline further interviews show a lot of intelligence IMO. Tepper has a type and it's why the team is a constant dumpster fire.

i really thought joey was gonna be something not sure what happened to him

They overspent on OGs so they went cheap behind them. Classic overreach. Brining back an injury prone C just leads to the eventual shorthanded they set up through their personnel choices. With Moton making bank too they were left hoping to avoid injuries...a very dumb approach in the NFL.

Mega ass, that's us...
-
I remember the same but Mike was not a “franchise QB”. So I think it’s because my view of him is relative to expectation. The fact that BY has this comparable stat to Mike Glennon is pitiful.

Who gets the boot if he stays?
-
Fire Canales then sell the team
-
I think the bones are there if we can get a big strong fast gunslinger. Just gotta add some juice and get a new Defensive coordinator
-
I'd probably feel like I was the 85 Bears if I got to go up against Bryce Young every day.
-
He sounds like me in 8th grade trying to BS my way through a book report for a book I never read.
-
And let's point out the key word in this...FUNCTIONAL. Not good, not great...just functional. Thats all we are asking because people will deliberately misconscrew what you said like you are saying dalton is gonna take us to the promise land or something. We just want to see a offense operate on a nfl level.
-
Can't believe he's above Mike Glennon. It's been a while but I remember him being solid in Tampa.
-
This is embarrassing to watch. Nervous to talk at pressers and they want him to LEAD a team? Just can him already and move on. fug!!!!!!!!
-
Bryce would be a good middle school coach. Lots of little guys he can coach up with his baby voice. Grown ass men in the NFL are NOT going to listen to a baby with a baby arm. Not sure how a billionaire’s staff thought this was going to end up some other way.
-
CTE sinking in nicely.
-
dude’s cheeks. Can’t believe we gave up so much to get him. Tepper is a complete retard.
-
Why does this franchise have to be dog water? I am tired boss.
-
FIRE MORGAN before the Panthers make the #2 overall pick in the 26' NFL draft ...just saying
-
Pretty much what I said yesterday, this team fielded one of the worst rosters in franchise history Sunday and they expect Bryce (who is not that type of QB) to somehow carry them. The pass protection is horrible, the receivers are horrible and the running game was non existent. Everyone wants us to throw deep when our fastest WR yesterday runs a 4.6. For the third season in a row we have the slowest WR core in the league this team refuses to draft speed on offense. And I agree Canales and Bryce really don’t fit from a scheme perspective, Bryce needs a Sean Payton or Mike Mcdaniels type, Canales wants a gun slinger, they need to find the happy medium.

I see that last point I think there is a power struggle between Canales and Evero or somebody. With that language about ‘pushing for the young guys’, was it? That doesn’t say I am in charge. And that could be a problem. Beta style. You get this poo with offensive focused coaches. I have always preferred defensive guys because they keep you in the game. and other stuff. I am not a Canales man in the sense that I am like the Bryce people, fervent and stubborn (sorry y’all). I want to have a reason that makes sense to me to turn on him. Everyone has different standards. For instance I was done with Hurnry the first time he traded a future first. Fox, 2010 sealed it. I stay patient. This thing with Bryce is probably the only time I have railed against a draft pick. Pick swaps yes, players no. It is a special kind of stupid when I can immediately see it. Fwiw.

This is what happens when you let a guy who should be a career backup get 3 years of starts under his belt.
-
This is a joke, right? Does he watch the games? Tied for worst road record as a starting qb with a guy who played over 50 years ago. Really special level of analysis.
-
There is only a handful of players that dont have a lot of blame. The coaches have blame, the front office has blame. 99% of people in the franchise have plenty of blame.
-
TheSpecialJuan started following Kurt Warner on Panthers offense

Couple observations watching film this am: 1) I really like a lot of solid concepts CAR is running & I believe it’s one of the reasons we’ve seen a much better version of Young (although still work to do there) https://x.com/kurt13warner/status/1972664760874512462?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
