All those assets and the most glowing thing anyone can say about our QB in year 4 is how well he interviews.

Tepper Giving An Interview on Pat McAfee Show
Wolfman83 replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
WTF are you all talking about. This was his best interview ever. Explained why he churned through coaches early on and why he was so hands on, because he didn't have the right people in place. With Thule and Reich, would you disagree? Now he is very much hands off because he has the right people in place. He also explained the Jax incident and I don't blame him. -

I wonder if Vega Ioane out of Penn State would be a good fit for us... -

Bryce is likeable and to his credit he's never been a distraction or a dick about things. But you don't select someone #1 overall because they whisper sweet nothings in your ear. This is how we ended up with Matt Rhule. Doesn't honestly sound like the Tepper's have learned anything. -

He was excellent in all of his Radio Row Super Bowl interviews -
Bo Nix plus all those assets back from that trade sounds amazing.

Panthers have a Jalen Coker problem.
fieryprophet replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Something that doesn't get discussed enough in these hypotheticals is that locking up a young guy early doesn't mean you can keep him for that rate. Not saying Coker would do this but it's pretty common for players to complain about their deals and holdout when they over-perform even if the team invested in them early, because players only have so much leverage through an entire career and money you don't earn now isn't going to magically appear down the line. -

They have been slumping for sure, honestly kind of shocked with the hornets... Currently in the play in and five games back of the playoffs. I

All I knew going in was they had 31 wins and KD. They look horrible, I don't know if it was just a bad night but not inspired basketball whatsoever. Crowd was dead silent like 90% of the game lol.

I'm waiting for a hornets skit on those riot comedy animations I see on Instagram

That's not the argument, though. This was: "All we had to do was roll with Darnold 1 more year and Maye was ours." That is what I said, and stand corrected. Had we kept Darnold, it's doubtful that we'd be picking 3rd without trading up. Without a trade we're likely looking at Bo Nix as a consolation prize.

He’s one of those people who feels the need to give too much detail when explaining something.

Can't edit. Rangers have won 2 games in regulation at home

I think the key difference is that the #1 pick was actually available. The Bears were still not ready to give up in Fields so they were willing to move it. But then Fields had another bad year and they end up #1 overall again with our pick with good QBs available. Washington and New England also both desperately needed QBs. I'm not sure if moving up the following year would've been on the table.

Dude they don't offer odds on this crap

Charlotte FC is awesome, no reason to hate on them just because they're not football
