Can't say I blame them, but they were sucking wind, barely running routes. The only one that looked like he had something left in the tank was Legette. So, at least he's in great shape! But Bryce had given up on him by then. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a problem in the locker room by season's end.

Yes. Rhule wouldn’t run the ball and defenders were taking his head off every play. When Rhule was fired the offense changed overnight with McAdoo and the run took a bunch of pressure off Darnold. However, Darnold is very physically gifted and has everything you want from a QB unlike ours. Darnolds problem has always been decision making.

It would allow you to control the clock at times and make BY look the best he can given his limiting factors. okay I buried the lead with this at the end but it needs to be up front, then we have the rebuttal I started out with. A designated Hail Mary QB, and designated QB sneaker… that is some unheard of stuff. I would be willing to bet a large sum (relatively) that only one player in the history of the league has required those accommodations. Cool. That looks like an easy top 5 pick with 2 wins max. The back half looks a lot darker with the Saint playing harder than this team. NE might be their best shot outside of a team falling asleep after watching thier film to not go lossless this year.

I mean even with the dark ages that happened before Rod. You have the early playoff years and the SC win. SEVEN straight playoff appearances coming into this season. Panthers only made it back to back because the NFCS sucked that year. Can you imagine how different the energy around the Panthers would be if we had 7 straight playoff appearances?
