  1. Past hour
  2. Burns quit on his team, full stop. Burns was and continues to be a liability in the run. JC has never looked this bad before the concussion. He always was a very solid tackler, from what I remember. I’ll take the overall body of his work over his current down stretch. I’ve never had to question his heart. The FO has royally screwed up roster management in many other deals but retaining Horn continues to be the right move. He will be back to form next season.
  3. I get it. I was making a joke that we have zero chance of winning.
  4. Did Bryce play bad? Yes. Did the whole offense play bad? Yes. Was Canales bad with his playcalling? Yes. Now with that being said I don't put this loss solely on Bryce Young. The seahawks are a much more talented team than us and to win in a scenario like that you need some luck which we didn't have that day. Bryce has shown this year that you can win with him at QB but the problem is that he doesn't have the ability to elevate the rest of the team around him. Bryce was a number 1 overall pick who we traded a haul of assets to get going into the end of his 3rd year the expectations need to be much higher than 54 yards passing. It's been nice to get some wins this year and have a chance to make the playoffs and Bryce has played a part in that but at some point the front office needs to see that you can't keep giving Bryce a pass for these low production games.
  5. The best coordinators in the league don't want to touch a team that is going to force them to start their pet project players/coordinators who are failing. I can't put a HC on the chopping block who isn't allowed to choose his own QBs, DC, or what RB he wants to start.
  6. I'm not looking forward to watching the ALL 22, but I could tell Bryce was given control to audible out of runs in 1Q, that control of the offense was taken away in 2Q to regain field position, and when Canales made him throw the ball in 3Q with the play calling, Bryce had no idea what was going on with the Seahawks defense. Bryce was spooked. He was seeing ghosts worse than Sam Darnold ever has. His hesitation, lack of urgency, and lob balls were the most consistent part of his game on Sunday.

  8. I wanted Micah Parsons. So, I'll always be disappointed until Horn starts closing out games on defense consistently while becoming a playmaker teams refuse to throw at. I never wanted Brian Burns either. I wanted Dexter Lawrence. Now, if we can figure out how to get Hunter Henry, CMC, Lamar Jackson, Dexter Lawrence, Micah Parsons, Garrett Wilson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jared Verse, or Ladd McConkey in a trade for Jaycee Horn, Ikem Ekwonu, Bryce Young or XL, I'm definitely on board. Anyone else, want to go after the players the Panthers should have drafted or kept for the ones they should have never touched?
  9. Absolutely. I think he pans out if he had been drafted to a better place. I can’t name a head coach who handled QBs worse than Rhule did.
  10. Cool but we didnt pass him. 3 times or even twice in that draft. He went before our second pick in that draft. Ikem is the only selection we had before he was taken.
  11. I want to see XL catching more footballs and acting in no commercials.
  12. Chris trapasso was all over it at the time. He was full on a Malik Willis stan lol
  13. Steichen interviewed with us, he didn’t turn it down. Reports were that tepper wasn’t impressed with his zoom interview and ended up going with Reich and Steichen went to Indy. Colossal fail on our part.
  14. I'll have to say Gamble and Lucas as well. There was one brief little stint where Lucas was ridiculously good. Very hard to get anything by him, along with Gamble who was always very steady and underrated. Norman and Peanut were really good too, but I feel they were more a product of our front 7 that year. Clean pockets were at a premium, so most passes were either hurried or off a little, on top of Norman playing at an elite level it basically was overkill.
  15. General observations: 1. Too much pressure without having to send extra guys. Generally a bad situation to counter. 2. More success running out toward the perimeter. And yet, we kept going back inside where we struggled. 3. Panthers receivers beating man coverage remains a problem. 4. I feel Bryce has been baited into that type of throw before. 5. Seemed there wasn't as much misdirection.
  16. What does this guy know? Big time throws don't even need to travel five yards, and we've got the guy for those throws.
  17. So the fans who dont attend games in Chapel Hill would pack BofA?
  18. Fell asleep end of 2 and missed the comeback lol. Nice win!
  19. Backing into the Playoffs with an 8-9 NFC South title is the most on brand thing possible for the Tepper owned Panthers.
  20. Because he likely has the same fear a few of us do which is a win and playoff appearance means the FO will subject us to years more of Bryce and the QB play that comes with him. Bryce as our franchise QB for the next 5 years is like signing up to be punched in the dick a dozen Sundays a season for half a decade. Our FO has not made one right decision with our QB room in the 8 years Tepper has been owner. Do you trust them to make the right one if we make the playoffs with a one and done? If you knew missing the playoffs this year meant we would be a perennial contender in 3 years, would you cheer for missing the playoffs this year? I want them to win. I also want no 4th year, 5th year option or extension. I've seen more than enough. Sadly, I don't think we can have both options.
  21. It wouldn't be about division, it would be about group record. The Panthers would be 2-0 vs the Falcons and 1-1 vs the Bucs. Therefore win the three way tiebreaker via a 3-1 record among the three teams.
  22. Nice, no better way for the NFC South winner to be chosen that some crap like that. poo Mountain at its finest
