And other fans could say the same things, I just can't see us being behind the Pats, Browns, and even some teams that are higher up on the list like the Saints. Chuba & Rico is a Top 10 RB tandem at worst IMO. Allow for some Theilen regression, but expect T-Mac to be *something*, XL to improve even a little, and Coker to be Coker. Toss in promise from the TEs, and I just can't see 31. A lot of if ands and buts for us and every team, but just seems wild to me.

Its the nfl, I dont think it matters either way. Although personally I like reading national guys giving their take on us and I prefer when its on the more positive side but God knows its been a while for that.

Why would you be surprised? He’s only 26. Necas continued that scoring clip after being traded to Avs. His combined totals for the regular season were 27 goals 83 points in 79 games! KK not even a comparison. Agree he has had a drop off in playoffs and can’t put my finger on the cause other than facing great teams.

Much like the other local team here they should be at least marginally better but I think most people are tempering expectations. Right now the floor is a basketball team worth watching and rooting for. Anything else is merely a surprise bonus.

The homer in me has us closer to 25, but even then, a lot to prove. If our Skill positions are 31, OL lets just say 10, and QB is 25...it's going to be a long year and changes are coming (again). If that skill position group isn't ranking around 20 next year at minimum, it probably means we're finding a new QB and coach.

That doesn't mean we are guaranteed 2k rushing yards from them two. I mean I agree we are a better team than last year, but just about every team thinks the same thing during the off-season. I hope we prove we are much better but recent history shows we are closer to 32 than 20.

i dont know about top 20, but i get it the 31. Some were higher on us last year and were burnt because of it. We need to prove we are a good team, instead each year we prove we deserve to be 30-32. You want higher ratings, primetime games, or respect in general... prove it. Until then, we will continue getting this treatment.
