  1. Past hour
  2. Im pretty sure he enjoys it at this point gets him off
  3. Canales could be a good coach, but unfortunately, he’s not going to get a chance to show that here. He is tied to Bryce Young now, and when you get rid of Bryce, it would be wise to dump both Morgan and Canales as well. The time for Canales to get rid of Bryce was last year.
  4. Typical hedge fund guy. Make a ton of money and do nothing good or useful. I just want to see it get merciless so that he is forced to change at some point. His way equals being a loser in the NFL
  5. No he didn't but CJ is a much better QB than Bryce.
  6. I've always wondered how I'd do as an NFL GM. Based on the Carolina Panthers bar, I could retire a millionaire never having accomplished a damn thing.
  7. It wasn’t all on Bryce but you’re not winning when you turn the ball over three times and throw for 154 yards. We are lucky this game wasn’t 42-3, because that’s what it felt like. I watch a lot of football. I am convinced we should have taken Matthew Golden and kept Thielen. Bryce needs a quick hitting offense to function.
  8. Yeah just out of touch billionaire delusions. It's plainly evident that everything he has done since cutting Cam Newton has been to try and change the identity of the team. He doesn't want that type of personality to be the face of the team. It's why he rejected Stroud who had parallels with Cam and made Bryce Young his savior. Bryce Young is a polar opposite to anything of that. You know it's bad when even Jerry Richardson had better judgment. That's BAD.
  9. Canales isn't going anywhere, he's going to get a shot with a new QB from the 2026 draft or a vet free agent. Bryce is done The defense still doesn't have much past the dline. Not much to say about the LB or edge players. Secondary minus Horn is bleh at best.
  10. 2002 - Julius Peppers (future Hall of Famer) 2003 - Jordan Gross (perennial Pro Bowler/All Pro) 2004 - Chris Gamble (decade+ shutdown corner) 2005 - Thomas Davis (perennial Pro Bowler/All Pro) 2006 - DeAngelo Williams (Pro Bowler) 2007 - Jonathan Stewart (Pro Bowler), Jeff Otah (injury bust) 2011 - Cam Newton (MVP) 2012 - Luke Kuechly (future Hall of Famer) 2017 - Christian McCaffrey (Offensive Player of the Year; perennial Pro Bowler/All Pro) 2018 - D.J. Moore (perennial Pro Bowl snub) 2019 - Brian Burns (perennial Pro Bowler) 2020 - Derrick Brown (Pro Bowler) Out of all of these picks, exactly three (Gamble, Otah, and Moore) failed to make a Pro Bowl. Of those, Gamble and Moore were/are fantastic, while Otah was a bust due to injury (that was still an All-Rookie player in 2008). You'd be hard pressed to find a better resume in the first round.
  11. the line isn't great either, -290 on the ML for AZ, way more than Jacksonville was. I may look into Carolina's team total under. I just can't see the Panthers beating this Arizona team, though.
  12. This They were making a joke about what kind of defense Hunter was playing, 100%
  13. The first 2-3 years I was defending and telling fans to chill........Year 4 or when BY was drafted, I joined the "haters". My deal is Ive never used forums to bitach, but Im slowly learning and I still hate doing it. Huddle does work best as a release, its been bad 7 years without no light/hope. There's no prime young talent or game changers on this team. Sure the best Panthers have is dbrown and horn, big fan and all.....but either have won games.....that's why you have 5 wins at the end of season.....
  14. Yeah let's just stick with the negativity here.
  15. Yes you prefer to wallow in misery and complain like its gonna change anything
  16. I just don't look at it like that. I look at the moment individually. How optimistic I am about the roster, staff, all that jazz. If you are talking about success over a large window of time, I absolutely get that argument. I just don't view it that way, because I don't think they are linked that way. More of an "any given Sunday" type, I guess.
  17. Unfortunately it’s called the “loser’s tax”. We simply have to overpay our free agent acquisitions because the team is down bad and the league and its players know it.
  18. He paid his players well for sure. Thing is with modern front offices Is that you have a cap team and a scout team on top of the GM along with player personale team and a ton of other moving parts. GM makes the most money and typically has final say on moves and such, so they take the blame. We kept a ton of the same scouts from pre Hurney to post Hurney. Didn't really do a full sweep til they hired Rhule... Go look at the drafts and see if that scouting team and GM wasn't the best we've had by a long shot.
  19. It is the outright over-the-top hubris. He thinks he has just figured it all out, and can't wait to tell everyone exactly that, right down to the ridiculous poo about how Young distributes the ball. Not just Superbowl, but Superbowls!
  20. Any of these teams mentioned have their own fan communities. You're welcome to take your fandom there. We don't need you.
  21. Well next week we are playing the Cardinals, we typically beat them even in shitty seasons. Not sure if I want to take that one.
  22. Dan Morgan and the scouts talent eval sucks.
