  1. Past hour
  2. What he is today is very different than where I believe he will be in the prime of his career
  3. Yeah I think they're going to lock him down. Nothing crazy. Short term $3m/yr deal or so tops.
  4. We have a solid core but can’t depend on Sanders being out “dependable pass catcher” as he’s below average. We don’t need to break the bank or get a superstar but add someone such as Likely from the Ravens and we will be in a good spot
  5. Coker is an exclusive rights free agent. Meaning he will be a Carolina Panther next year likely for the league minimum. That should not stop us from signing him to a long term deal
  6. I think many are expecting a huge contract but he's not there yet. I'm thinking 2 years $8m, or he may (wisely) go for a 1 yr deal around $3m so he can earn a monster deal.
  7. He's depth at best. I say we draft another guy at WR and use money in FA on TE and backup QB. We need an OT in the draft and the rest use on defense.
  8. Wanted to add to that post I made a few minutes ago, one thing. My other dealbreaker. When we get shut down in the run game and made one dimensional, we have to be able to break that strategy. I am thinking he has yet to demonstrate he can pull that off and keep defenses honest.
  9. He is just too small for me. Not too short just too small. Think he would always be too gadget and scheme dependent. Not saying cut the kid….but we someone we can keep on the field and just play in traditional WR sets. He ain’t got the size.
  10. I don't see this roster as being flawed at all. I think this is a roster that has been built to bail out a terrible QB and it can only do so much. It's time to put an actual professional behind center. We will quickly see that this is a terrific roster ready to win big, and win now.
  11. Horn hasn't really been given a chance.
  12. To whom it may concern, I'm the one who gave him the bottom vote. He's THE liability on this team. With a competent QB that has moderate physical tools we are competing for a championship. This roster, as I've said for a while, is very well assembled and ready to compete right now. It is hamstrung by the QB.
  13. TLDR answer: No Drawn out answer with thought and sentiment: I like BY and wanted him to be good. He has shown some flashes that lead to me holding out hope that he could turn the corner but he ain’t it. Wish him well and as long as he is in a Panther uniform and our starting QB I will pull for him to prove me wrong.
  14. I wouldn't mind that but a lot of times you can get a good speedy slot guy in the 2nd or 3rd. Way too early I kind of want Kenyon Sadiq in the first, then defense and a speedy slot the rest of the draft. Sadiq would give us a reliable tight end in the passing game. Our offense has been so much better any games we got anything out of our tight ends, and he also is a really good blocker.
  15. Fortunately for us we don't have many guys here that'll break the bank. Coker will get a decent little contract though.
  16. Watching his highlights last night he was so quick off the snap. I noticed Nic for whatever reason looked like he moved in slow motion last night. I saw him ranked 19th on the CBS Prospect rankings, problem is a lot of boards are projecting Bailey to be gone around 7.
  17. Jalen Coker Rozeboom Yosh Nijman Cade Mayes Claudin Cherelus Isiah Simmons (Might not be a good LB OR S but he is an amazing special teams player, that blocked punt yesterday was huge) Brady Christensen- if Icky is out we’re gonna need Yosh and Brady to man down LT As much as I’m a Nick Scott doubter, he is a solid run defender and our S behind him aren’t the best. Hopefully he would not be a starter next season rather a backup. JJ Jensen- love that mf Sam Martin dude was solid all year
  18. It seems that way now but honestly who knows? It's really a non-conversation. There's no point in speculating at how good anyone will be next year.
  19. Canales needs the opportunity to bring in his own DC. Evero is not good.
  20. If Bryce stays the same then we can expect him to come out the gate in the 2026 season with an 0-2 record…Mr. 0-2 2023: 0-2 2024: 0-2 2025: 0-2 2026: 0-2?
  21. This is the problem with Bryce Young. We all see him have a very pedestrian performance and somehow think it's special. That was a very, very average game. There was absolutely nothing special about it. It is a testament to how ungodly awful he is that when he goes out and has a middle-of-the-road performance that we view it as being spectacular. The dude had 35 seconds and 3 timeouts to go 30 lousy yards and completely imploded. He's absolutely terrible.
  22. Coker and TMac are basically equals as #1s. I like XL but he and Bryce aren't on the same page at all. The pass to the end zone Bryce threw that was flat as hell and gave XL absolutely no chance to run under is a prime example. I just don't know what it is, but every ball he throws in XL's direction is absolutely terrible.
  23. I wouldn't say it's a foregone conclusion that he misses next season. He may still be rehabbing for the first half of the season or so though.
  24. Bryce alluded to Ickey playing banged up all year in his presser and a couple weeks back he hurt the knee and had an MRI. Those results were never publicized but gotta think there was some damage there that he played through but it also could have contributed to this more significant injury. I admire that he tried to gut it out and managed to play through it for the team. Can’t imagine that wear and tear when you’re that size.
