  1. Past hour
  2. I mean basically the same thing happened at QB too. We forced it instead of letting it come to us. Canales wasn’t a terrible hire given the non existent pool, but those decisions to force a move quickly compounded into Canales
  3. It's a parity league. The underdog wins 30-40% of the time. Teams cover the spread around 50% of the time which means close games. The "likely" outcome isn't as likely as it seems in the NFL, especially in the playoffs. That game was one of the most electric and exciting playoffs games we've ever been in and Bank of America stadium was jacked. I love that this young team got to experience that. Easy to say it wasn't worth it or a team had no chance after the fact. You don't wait for the cards to get stacked in your favor to try and make a playoff run or win a Superbowl.
  4. Svechnikov wants Dahlin to hurt a lot. Lmfao
  5. Tage is going to have an aneurysm because of Bussi before the end of this one. Lol
  6. It is kind of funny that CJ could be playing himself into the exact model of young talented QB that ended up washing out and might be worth a flier. But that’s after he is cut which he isn’t. And likely won’t be. Another surprise is I never saw problems with him and the 5th year option. Thought he would get the extension. Then while I am not looking he goes and switches up. There could be problems there.
  7. Exactly. Desired coaches with options aren’t coming here, even for money. They want to win and be part of an organization that knows how to do that and will let them do their job. No HC wants to come in a butt heads with Tepper’s dumbass and his wife who have zero football knowledge giving input in the draft room lol. Players don’t either. We already found this out with coaches and players like Stafford. Not sure why fans don’t see this, just because someone is available doesn’t mean anything. All these good coaches mean nothing to us. This team’s success will rely on hitting on an unknown mixed with throwing poo against a wall waiting for something to stick. See last 10 years (of perpetual losing).
  8. But as we've seen, unless it's a Peyton Manning, there really is no sure number 1. You're better off taking your QB where you sit or trading up a spot. Moving up to 8 spots to number 1 is just too costly in terms of picks and the ability to build around that QB. This is also why you should always be trying to develop in the backup role instead of settling for a Dalton type player. There are no guarantees and the more shots you take, the more chances you have of finding your guy or a bridge guy until you find THE guy. Or, you get some dumb ass team to trade a small fortune for your number 1 overall pick and take your QB with the 1st overall that they traded to you as part of the package because they were so impatient.
  9. It would be more reasonable for Igo to upgrade the board with some well overdue and needed updates
  10. I'd be shocked to be honest. This isn't how you build a team within the context of our situation. I don't see us in win-now mode as much as build-now mode.
  11. I owe you an apology for this one. I read what lead up to that comment and see the context that I missed. On its own, it could be taken exactly how I took it, But that wasn’t the case, it was my mistake.
  12. Josh Allen has similar physical measurables to Cam and is a damn good quarterback in his own right, but he's never done anything like running over the entire conference throwing to the likes of Jerricho Cotchery and Ted Ginn Jr en route to the Super Bowl. edit: I have no idea where "john allen" came from
  13. Ok boys don’t keep the Bus all alone, score!!!
  14. Neat little trick of Dave Canales offense is instead of interceptions bryce just turns the ball over on downs and there isn’t an individual stat for that.
  15. TNT announcers are terrible. They know dick about Carolina or have never seen the Canes play. And they're drooling over Tage Thompson.
  16. Ornery Jarvis might be my favorite Jarvis!
  17. Mike Kaye has mentioned him, but go after the other Bengal, Ossai. Get Ossai who's entering his prime years for 30% of the price, and then use the money to fill other needs. Scourton, Ossai, Pat Jones, Princely, Draft Pick. Unless a 26-27 year old star is there, a 31 year old Hendrickson commanding big money seems like a poor allocation of resources.
  18. Svechnikov is pissed. Not sure that's who ya want to make mad on this team. lol
  19. Dan promised not to be reckless. But this Icky situation impacts what he can do in the draft, I am afraid. It comes down to can we best replace Icky in FA or through the draft, and if it looks like draft then they will use FA for their edge. If it is only two years, and it fails, it is not the end of the world. I guess.
  20. Not just the announcer the scorekeepers too
  21. No, Cam made the players around him better. He made Ginn Jr look liked an actual NFL receiver. What bad WR has Allen ever transformed?
