  1. Past hour
  2. I forgot about Mays, but suffice it to say Seattle invested in their OL and it paid off with 4 starters on rookie deals. Spending a 1st on a desperate need and 2 day 3 picks in 4 drafts is why we had to pay a ton and still be paper thin to injuries and potential FA loss.
  3. They also have a stud LT and have drafted 10 OL in the past 4 drafts. We drafted Iky and Zavala. They drafted two 1st rounders, both of whom were foundational starters on the SB winning team. It doesn’t matter how much you spend if you drafted 4 starting OL on your SB winning team in 4 drafts. We had to pay a ton for our OL because instead of drafted 2.5 OL every year including half your 1st round picks, we decided Iky and Zavala in 4 drafts was enough investment.
  4. I like Dungy but in terms of being an on air television personality he's extremely forgettable. He's probably being paid more due to his football resume than he's worth as a commentator/analyst on air. Seems like a matter of time before they conclude the same about Brady.
  5. I don’t recall him saying that. I do recall when he was a rookie/2nd year that he said he was working to know the entire OL. That said, that was a long time ago and at this point, moving him around seems counterproductive. It’s not 2018 or 2019 when it seemed to make sense and he played well at LT when he had to do so due to injuries. This is Moton’s 10th year, no point. We need to draft multiple tackles at this point with no idea how Iky comes back in 2027.
  6. This is the way. I think we make a run at Lloyd and/or Chubb, double down in someway with Rodriguez as our target in the 2nd. The way Kaye has been talking, if Lloyd wants to be a Panther he will be. Give me Lloyd and Rodriguez and all of a sudden the middle of the field becomes a potential strength again.
  7. Today
  8. It does and he has said it several times.
  9. Draft Rodriquez in the second, grab the best OT or Edge in the first. There's a lot out there in free agency right now, but we need to maybe be investing in C and perhaps another OT, perhaps our own guys that are headed that way if we can get a decent discount for them.
  10. Yeah that's why I placed those shot bets the team that was ahead had relatively low numbers but my assumption is teams like Atalanta and Juventus were going to attack furiously and either leave themselves open for counter or score a few goals and force the other team to be more offensive. Would have hit if PSG had done Dick in the first half. It's a lot more fun when teams have to score just to get back to even
  11. That's just not true. It may feel that way to you, but if you look at his passing charts, most games he's completing more passes in the middle of the field than the outside. Even in his 100 yards stinkers he's completing more passes over the middle than the outside. Probably gets more yards throwing outside the numbers, but he usually completes more passes over the middle. A tight end that knows how to post up and box out for the ball would definitely help. In my opinion, he needs to take more deep shots outside the numbers and less short passes between the numbers.
  12. They are in the red in terms of cap space. Could be that they like him, but not as much as they do others.
  13. That's why I said that he fixed a lot of the Hornets bench issues and created some new floor combinations that should work well and help Kon and Miller score when they aren't on the floor with Ball.
  14. since I agree with him I will jump in and say we don’t use the TE enough to value one as a 1st. One of these threads just today people are posting pointing out that Bryce can’t see the middle of the field which is where a lot of TE eat. He likes to throw picks there too, I wonder why (can’t see). It just doesn’t help us that much. And personally, just my opinion, Bryce has had enough top level investment dedicated to the pass game. Get a speedy WR later? I am fine with it and think that is all we really need anyway. Another 1st round pick? Hell no if I get to say. Which I don’t but no one else does either As far as a TE, a pass catching RB would be of more use than a TE I think. We visited with one I think maybe Sr Bowl, that was a WR in school u til just this year when they switched him to RB full time. A guy like that could be put to a lot of use on these little 5 yard passes Bryce is so fond of throwing, It is just past time to put some real talent into the defense for once and I want our top picks to focus there, personally. I would say unless we have a situation like last year where the difference in pure value is stark, I am pissed if we pass on a quality defensive player for another pass catcher.
