I think Banks would be a fit, McDonald too, Hunter is a monster as well. I just can’t see this team continuing to invest in these 3 down lineman with a first round pick. Derrick Brown and Wharton have big contracts. Bobby Brown has a decent one even if we let AShawn go. At some point you have to invest in people who can sack and volume tackle. You have to have people who actually make plays.

McDonald would be interesting. Looks like a guy suited for an odd front defense and would equate to a bit more of DB as the 4T but obviously would shift inside in a 4-3 or 4-2-5 look. I'll be interested to see where the cluster of DTs sort out post-combine/pro-days. I think any of Woods/McDonald/Banks would help our D out immensely. Just depends on your cup of tea....or Evero's I suppose. I'd lean Banks given his size and length...it screams 34 NT, but Woods looks like the most well-rounded.

I don’t think that’s CM punk and it wouldn’t make much storyline sense with punk beating Breakker last month to retain the title. My guess is Logan Paul, who on Friday’s show claimed that they should make sure bron wins the match…and just happened to be sweating already when he made his rumble entrance several minutes after the attack.

As many know, I like Shedeur, but that is insane. The Pro Bowl has been a joke for a long time now. It’s just a popularity contest.

David Newton's Panthers Free Agency Preview Dancy Party

Hmmm, he should be available on a short-term, low cap hit contract coming off an injury that sidelined him for a year and a half. Maybe with incentives if he plays a high percentage. I still would recommend re-signing Nijman as a safety blanket. -

He’s gonna get a practice squad spot to run the scout team as Bryce young. -
Sometimes, a franchise has to cut bait and move on icky is serviceable but he has flaws this isn’t a guard or a linebacker, or a safety it is a blind side protector of a very tiny qb Too. Moton is also getting older and he missed some games or parts of games this year As that knee wears down, we know the end of that story and Christiansen is coming off an Achilles injury All of this means, we have one clear swing tackle in Yosh, and doubt he is an every down player and if he goes down, then what ? if I’m the Panthers, I go best available tackle in rd 1 or 2 and pick up free agents for backups keep the strengths strong It isn’t like the team has Josh Allen behind that line either

Surprise! Wait… Surprise Again! Kon Looks Really Good!

Ehh, new front office has 2 drafts under their belt -- Salaun draft class was really a horrible class in general, but Salaun has started to show some of his potential and KJ Simpson not bad for a 2nd round pick. This past draft clearly looks like it was knocked out of the fuging park obviously with Kon but also Sion and Kalk already contributing in somewhat big roles for late round picks. And McNeeley has shown potential and lit it up in summer league, seems to be doing well in the G league for a young guy too. As for this season I think a very realistic goal and outcome of the regular season is sneaking up into a 7 or 8 seed and then winning 1 of 2 play-in games to make the real playoffs. Probably get cooked in round 1 but that playoff experience and establishing that expectation of winning is critical to the development of our young core. -
Sound write-up MHS, as always. Agree that the smart move that forward thinking franchises make would be drafting a tackle early, if not for sure in R1, depending on who's there. Based on early predictions we're choosing between Fano and Proctor. No brainer here...Fano all day. Proctor does not move the needle for me. In my mind, Icky has less future here than Brooks does. I love Icky, but he has been average as a top-10 pick, one good year where you saw the potential...and that was this year. He's built like a RT and his strengths are there, but he's always played left. I also feel like part of what has held him back from being elite, was his work ethic. He was known for it coming out, but feel like he fell right at home in Carolina and maybe didn't push himself as hard as he needed to. Throw in a major crucial injury that will take time to recover and a historical low return rate to current form, and the outlook is not great. Fano can play both sides and we need to also plan for Moton's departure. Either way, delaying drafting a tackle early this year will hurt us down the line. Our current OL is overpriced and needs to start adding draftees to start balancing out the inevitable changes coming in the next 2-3 years. As others have said, maybe Icky can replace Hunt or Lewis in a couple years when he's fully recovered....IDK. Also not a guarantee, but then you have to figure out his contract and it becomes even more clouded.

It's past time to just eliminate it in terms of an event. Just do the voting, name the roster, and move on. When you get down to 6th and 7th alternates it's just absurd. It doesn't mean anything.

The NFL Pro Bowl has become one of the more disgusting, disgraceful events in all of sports.

Canes have to realize that from here on out most teams are fighting for a playoff and all the games will be intense - no more coasting to a win

Very intrigued how Morgan and Canales handle the offseason

I know that it is wwaaaaay early for mock drafts but a quick ask google says that this guy doesn't make it to 27, we likely have him in play at 19. I'll take a technically sound pass blocker over a behemoth mauler any day. "Projection: Late first round (approx. 16th-23rd overall)" -
I absolutely did not agree with the penalty for the hit on Davante Adams, but it is what it is.

I wouldn't be upset with QB TE if I'm being honest. Obviously depends on the player and I have no idea who'd be sitting there at 19 and 51. I'm not sold on Bryce or Sanders , Tremble is average, Evans doesn't have enough playtime to judge yet. -

1. Prepare for life without Ickey. Whether thats a high draft pick or solid FA. IF and big IF he comes back then you have a succession plan for Moton at RT. But as stated I would assume Ickey will never be our starting LT again 2. Sign Coker now. He's only going to get more expensive. Give him a decent #2 WR contract and call it a day 3. XL I would give this next season. Unless someone like Dallas blows you away with a ridiculous trade offer. XL showed promise his rookie year, I still have faith he can be a contributor to this team 4. Short term - LT and drafting a Center are musts IMO 5. LB would be awesome to get Sonny Styles in the draft but he likely goes long before then. We really need a good MLB, Devin Llyod from Jax may be available 6. I ride next year with Chuba, Etienne and Brooks - too many other needs to worry about RB right now -
I hope we don't. We need to re-sign a few players (Nijman, BC, maybe Mays and Rozeboom, lock down Coker (he is cheaper now than he will be later).
