Now comes where Morgan needs to earn his paycheck.
PanthersATL replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
NFL reporter Matt Lombardo has some nice things to say: I’m so beyond all-in on the Panthers’ free agency moves, and GM Dan Morgan may be one of the biggest winners, so far. https://bsky.app/profile/mattlombardo.bsky.social/post/3mgxahfuags2a -
we cant afford either, which again I love the signings but there are always 2 sides of the coin when/if things go sideways
-
I bet he makes beautiful salads.

patiently waiting for the Taylor Decker signs a one year deal to Carolina news to drop and ease my concerns about next year

A.J. Brown trade discussions are not dead. Last week, I was told the Rams discussed trading for Eagles WR A.J. Brown before dealing for CB Trent McDuffie. Dialogue slowed, but Los Angeles continues to monitor the status of the three-time Pro Bowler with interest. We’ll see where both parties go from here. https://x.com/DMRussini/status/2032471339534070062?s=20

He looks like a baller but can't help but shake off the thought that he rolled into BoFa stadium looking like Nacho Libre.
-
Proctor is a no go for LT. Very slow and to heavy.
-
Looking at these I like the thought here. Get our LT at 19 other LB in the 2nd (or vice versa) and future C in the mid-rounds. If the draft falls right this would be a win and anything else would just be a nice bonus...
-
Why would he be benched this season? Icky is probably out the year and may never get back to his old form?

Someone forgot how bad raanta actually is.... lmfoa

2026 offensive tackle rankings
raleigh-panther replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
You are welcome I was glad to find a simple picture of all of them let’s hope for the best …a different player caller might change things for the better too -
Why would Decker sign here? He’d be signing a contract under the impression he’ll be on the bench at some point this season. Unless he’s cool just hanging out and collecting a check

Good catch!

I Think Miami singed Salyer recently...
-
I want to like Woods more, but there's something about him that I don't think will translate well over to the NFL. I thought he and Banks had potential to be our pick at 19, but I'm moving more away from this....defintely on Banks. If Freeling isn't there at 19, I hope we move back. In the mid-20s, I'd feel more comfortable with Iheanachor or Lomu. I don't feel like Miller can play LT, though he'd be a great replacement for Moton at RT. I'm also out on Proctor for OT.
-
Of the two, Decker would be my choice, but not at the pricetag he would command. TBH, I'm in the Salyer camp as a competent fringe starter that is better than Yosh was, but unsure if he can hold up for 17+ regular season games. My guess is he would be a gamble like others are making on Chenal, Turk, etc. in rolling the dice on a promising young guy stuck buried on a talented depth chart.
-
Yeah, leaving Miami Ohio out would be dumb. Almost as dumb as now calling the play in games the "1st round". In a field of 64 you can't tell me there's not room for a 31-1 team. Hell, I volunteer my Heels to stay at home and give them our spot. LOL

Latest on Panthers free agency plans
TheSpecialJuan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
The three teams are Panthers, Broncos, Eagles. Source is telling me it's likely Panthers & Broncos, since Eagles is likely a pivot move if they can't re-sign Goedert. https://x.com/dixonsydernfl/status/2032442043595690437?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
