  1. Past hour
  2. Bryce sucked but no way he only had 1 pressure yesterday
  3. the first season Bryce Young was the starting Qb for the Carolina Panthers they finished with the worse record in the NFL & as a result got the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft .the #1 overall pick the Carolina Panthers traded to the Chicago Bears who used that pick to draft Caleb Williams point being the silver lining with Bryce Young as the starting Qb is that there is a real possibility that he is able to once again help the Carolina Panthers get the #1 overall pick & draft his replacement in 26'
  4. I know we know, well most of us know. lol
  5. Option 1 seems the most likely to me. Canales inherited Bryce and will likely get a chance to show what he can do with a hand picked QB. I also think this team really needs less turnover at GM and coaching.
  6. Well lets put some statistics to Year 3 Week 1. Rating 49 (30th of 30) Yards 154 (25th of 30) Completion 51.4% (28th of 30) Turnovers 3 (30th of 30 and really was 4) Average per attempt 2.4 (29th of 30) QB SUPPORT METRICS Sacked 1 (Tied for 2nd least) Pressured 1 (Tied for 2nd least) Rushing 113 (12th of 30) (With no passing support) Rushing avg 4.5 (11th of 30) Penalties 4 for 35 (Tied for 2nd fewest)
  7. I'd have to go back and watch the 22, but he's always had a tendency to drift early in his drop back plus he misses line reads like crazy.
  8. Too early to say. Let's talk again around Halloween and we should start having an idea.
  9. Judging by how mad he was going back to the bench I honestly think he thought it was 3rd down. Which if true, both Bryce and Canales need to go. Canales needs to stop being the supportive gf type and start getting on asses
  10. I mean, Bryce could've just thrown it to wide open Sanders coming right across his face.
  11. As we continue to trot our known failed experiment in Ejiro Evero as our DC, it comes to focus that this defense is supposed to be retooled and ready to make an impact. With the $$$ invested, you'd think this defense would at least be half decent, right? Well, guess who's number 32 in the league in defensive pressure despite the $$$ poured on the dline? Oh yes, Evero's defense: How this bum DC hasn't been fired to the moon yesteryear is beyond me.
  12. I'm not so sure that it was T-Mac on that one, I think it was meant to be a quick out to XL but he ran the wrong route. Can't seem to find it in this moment, but this morning I saw a clip of the play basically from the angle of the first down marker on the sideline and it looks like as soon as Bryce took the snap, he looked XL's way and started to cock back his arm to throw it but XL just never turned around and kept drifting towards the end zone. I could be wrong, but to me, albeit on just one look, it looked like he expected XL to turn his head around and run an out route 2 yards past the LOS to pick up the 1st and when he didn't, Bryce panicked.
  13. He simply didn't see JT. I read his lips on the sidelines after the play and that's exactly what he said. He could have run for the 1st down but had a brain fart instead.
  14. Jacoby Brissett is probably plenty good enough to get the W over this squad.
  15. You gotta laugh at this place and the reactions/ takes of some of the forumites. Its the only reason I come here myself. It sure isnt to celebrate the Panthers.
  16. Corbett was exceptionally bad yesterday and Bryce had trouble with the pressure. The coaching staff is playing the wrong players. Or Bryce is wanting Austin instead of Mays. Eye test said the secondary did good, I think Wallace and the turnovers almost single handedly tanked the defense yesterday. But that is still on Evero and Morgan, because it was inexcusable to go into the season with this as your linebacking crew.
  17. Don't think it matters whether you have DB as a 4-3 DT or a 3-4 end when the rest of the front 7 just isn't very good. Dude is going to command double teams regardless on how we line him up.
  18. If he isn't benched by game 3, I think it's safe to say this is Tepper or a straight up tank.
  19. He clears left to give himself a clean look. And Sanders is breaking to the left in stride, should easily be able to place it well. Toss it, lead JT to only where he can grab it, it's a 13 yard throw. But then he suddenly stops, plants in a terribly awkward position, with his body parallel to the LOS, feet are facing in opposite directions angled outward. It's egregious for a QB at a D2 level. start this at 7 m 15 s and put it on .50 playback speed:
  20. Sounds like a Tepper era Panthers GM to me. I am not seeing a path TO beating Arizona, minus Kyler getting injured. He didn't get knocked out by the Hershey squirts last week and got them piloted to a W.
  21. I'm going to be in the minority, but I thought the run D was solid outside of the 70 yard run - and I think the run D would have been even better if we didn't have ILBs that are complete ass. The pass rush, on the other hand, was flat out pathetic. Surprised JC and Jackson held up as well as they did in coverage. Legette is giving me Mingo vibes of he will never develop into anything. Hated the pick when we drafted him, and still hate it now.
  22. Had he corrected his mechanics he would still be playing.
  23. They ran a 4-3 almost the entire game yesterday. You see what happened. Just watch the dline in the next game and you will see how much they go to a 4-3 base during a game. It's not as simple as saying just switch to 4-3. They do not have the personnel for either. Its a mishmash bunch of career backups and a couple of starters thrown in. All requested by Evero under Dom Capers tootilage.
