Yes..and it's sad. Can't stop talking about him in comparison to bryce.
-
Ryan is a defensive coach what do you think? the OC is also new but I guess that doesn't matter.
-
Sawyer Robertson QB Baylor 7th rd
-
It’s gonna sound awful but do not underestimate the amount of NFL teams that will want to interview him simply to satisfy the Rooney Rule. It’s a reality I am sure Evero and his team are acutely aware of.
-
We already have 2 young pass rushers who could be promising, no need to add a 3rd to the mix when we won't be getting a stud in the Top 5. We need to overspend and get the best pass rusher we can in FA, someone who can step in from week 1 and be a true impact maker and a leader for the young guys to learn from.

Bill Barnwell with encouraging words on the Panthers
Montsta replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am literally too stupid to understand advanced metrics and it makes watching sports sooooo much easier. -
I am not sure it should be a ‘sell out to go to the SB’ season. And hope they don’t think that. At the same time I was thinking you absolutely must find out if you want to pay for Bryce or not. That means putting it on him. No protecting and trying to hide weaknesses with the run game and super conservative calls. So I wish they would do it and find out, win or lose, 2026. No more developing. Time to do it. Let’s see once and for all.

Your Feelings on Bryce Through 3 Seasons? (POLL)
Montsta replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
My biggest fear with Bryce Young is that he will always do just enough to stick around. He shows flashes and then drops a turd so the hopium is always there. Like his career highlight reel if you cut it up to some hype music and did a YouTube video would actually be quite good. His great plays really, really look good. But after that video you look at his yearly averages for completion percentage, yardage, touchdowns, and virtually every other metric and it is meh as fug. Like you know Bryce is gonna be 13/23 for 157 yards a touchdown and probably a pick. I will 100% give him his flowers for his athleticism and ability to scramble outside the pocket. I haven’t seen the mythical “super processing ability” he was touted for per se, but he has shown flashes of absolutely elite awareness when it comes to scrambling. The little basketball move he does to shake defensive linemen has almost become a signature move. It’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it he stops on a dime and pivots like he is gonna hit a step back jumper and it has gotten him out of a lot of trouble. I sincerely, truly, as a vocal Bryce HATER, hope that since we are obviously running with him next year the coaching staff actually tailors plays around his strengths. He needs to be in a pure spread IMO. His size is much less of a hindrance when he can play QB in open space. I feel like most of his highlight reel is from scrambles and play action/bootlegs. -
Carolina Panthers pick No. 19-2026 NFL Draft
bandu replied to PantherBoy95's topic in Carolina Panthers
draft me at 19 a lean mean tackling machine -
good then help Evero help the Carolina Panthers by investing in the defense ...just saying
-
No doubt. QB's under him tend to overperform. Do QB's under Ryans overperform?
-
Stroud was off at times but Panthers fans have got to be his biggest critics.
-
Purdy has one of the better offensive coaches in the NFL on the sidelines. That helps a little.
-
I mean, did you just watch that game?? So the fuging Steelers are too big of a stage??? Well, it's only gonna get worse. Purdy, bad as he might be, has literally played deep into the playoffs. A 5-2 record, actually. Gross, I am defending Brock Purdy. Ugh.

We need a defensive QB at ILB. That was desperately missing this year, somebody like Luke to make adjustments and make sure everybody is on their assignment.

2026 Panthers Free Agents… who you keeping and who can walk
Car123 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah, enough trading our great players. -
Next season feels like a make a run/high expectations season. We can’t afford to rely on a rookie pass rusher. We need a good veteran presence.
-
unless its a rare blue chip pass rusher top 5 or 10 then it normally takes on average at least 2 to 3 years for a pass rusher to fully develop in the NFL .its simply put a HUGE learning curve so do you want a pass rusher right now or 2 or 3 years from now ? ...just saying
-
Crazy that so far we might have had the most entertaining playoff game so far
-
Roughly ~2–5% of all drafted players become true elite pass rushers (multiple All-Pro or consistently top-tier), and ~8–15% make at least one Pro Bowl at pass rusher (heavily dependent on draft round). Chances we get lucky in the next 2 seasons are extremely low. We cry about our non existent pass rush then also cry when we are unwilling to trade for top tier talent.
-
Texans vs Patriots may be some really ugly offensive football. Stroud did... whatever he did tonight and Collins will almost certainly not play. Patriots only managed 16 points against a pretty good Chargers defense whose offense might've been even more inept than the Steelers.
-
Would you draft a pass rusher or draft one?
PleaseCutStewart replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Good news for us is that we pretty much need every position on defense... There should be a good player available for us at 19 -
I think I'm gonna have to go with Bills or Texans as my teams, but wouldn't hate it for Darnold even though it would be hard to root for the Seahawks

Worst no call of the season, a crosscheck to the back of Ghost leads to the OT winning goal. The official was looking right at it! https://x.com/waltruff/status/2010917588113445265?s=46
