Observer Young needed to be more than turnover fred
Proudiddy replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m half joking when I say someone from the huddle could step out there and do what he does, but I’m not. Because what he does is exactly what I expect from someone with little to no experience trying to make things happen. The way even when he tries to avoid mistakes, he seems to find them. Watching him try to run away from a defender twice his size and still get hawked down, then him try to do the smart thing and tuck the ball away, only for the said defender to punch the ball out with ease. Watching him scramble out of the pocket, get squared up by a defender, one on one, and then he tries to juke one way. No, the other way. No maybe I should’ve went the first way. Then trip over himself and fall forward while fumbling. The Jessie Bates game - those picks he threw? You see most QBs might make a throw like that a couple times a season. He has done it 2 or 3 times a game, multiple games in his career. He did it twice against Jacksonville this season. It all looks like someone who is new to this. It looks like someone who has no idea what they’re doing and are in way over their head. -
Defend the boundary numbers out, shallow zone in the middle of the field with safeties playing two deep and tell your rushers to close lanes. He will get antsy in the pocket and move his feet. He's toast after that because it's just wait for the 2-5 yard throw to the outside and since the defense coverage should be pushing outside the numbers towards the boundary you've got players to go after the runner to limit YAC.

Brother you need rethink your priorities. I would not spend 75% of my time arguing even if I was an attorney. I damn sure am not doing it for free over a player. -

I know coaching in the NFL is a 24/7 job but got damn….what the hell is going on behind the scenes in Carolina?? The last few coaches since Tepper took over look like they just got out of Nam at a certain point. Canales is starting to get that look….like he spent the night in a Tepper’s office strapped to a chair with megadeath blasting and strobe lights flashing. I remember when Reich started looking glossed over and like he was ready to jump off a bridge. Rhule reached a point where he looked like he slept in a ditch. Anyways, there is a pattern that has formed when they’ve all gotten the I don’t give AF anymore look with bags under their eyes that is synonymous with Carolina under Tepper. It’s starting with Canales.

Some people believe the Earth is flat so why not BY is also a competent QB. The same amount of going against factual evidence.

I now dub Bryce, Turnover Fred. -
How the concept of Bryce physically limiting the playbook escapes these people is crazy lol.

poo is ridiculous! I spend 75% of my time arguing with them! -
Well you spend the whole offseason with the gm and coach not creating any internal competition you're going to get a soft and comfortable group of players.

To this that back2back like that is horrific! Tepper has been very successful as a financial hedgefund manager. Tepper has been a TRAINWRECK as a NFL owner. He has to be on track to be historically bad which I would love to say is satisfying but......it's not 2015 (a decade ago!) Cam SB year was just so much fun to watch every game. I really miss that!

Dolphins are looking and playing competitive. They will coming and put 30+ points on the panthers next week. -
It made no sense to not try and upgrade at QB over Dalton. Im sure Andy is a nice guy but he really has no upside and after last year, he doesn't have anything to add other than a nickname. This season was always meant to be ride or die with Bryce and it's sinking fast. Now whether it's Tepper forcing it, Dan who believed Bryce to have turned the corner, or Canales who thought Bryce could be the guy, its obvious this plan ain't working and the Huddle GMs are right again. No matter whether you believe Bryce is it or not, you always, always, always, try to get better at every position.

Oh no that's terrible -
Bryce's situation reminds me of Rivera in 2012. Rivera should have been fired after the 2012 season, but he fired off some wins and got to keep his job. Bryce should have entered the offseason with no guarantee that he was going to be the starter and we bring in competition. Instead he "played well" and got to keep his job with no competition brought in. I do not understand why they thought Dalton would be good enough. Dalton should have been let go and we should have brought in someone younger with at least a smidge of potential. Even if that was a late round pick.

Thats on Dan Morgan to cut him and to have a backup plan. Until Canales benches him the show goes on. I'm as sick of this crap as anyone brother and I am not going to enjoy another failed reset. But one thing I know for sure is this group is not going to make this team competitive. Giving a bad driver a new car to drive does not make them a better driver. Just saying.

I am not married to Canales but he severely handicapped by this situation. Anyone would be. Throw him out with the bath water and whatever. I want a new QB. I would cut him today. Anyone is better than him. Anyone. I have been looking at this poo for too long and am not having a good day with it very frustrated.

Tyreek Hill's left knee just exploded. -
BC is our swing tackle. It’s easier to replace guards than tackles. They’re trying to minimize injury risk to BC because we have no one else.
