  1. Past hour
  2. This leads me to think Bryce has a level of comfort and confidence which are both good things. Hopefully this and last year's uptick translates to game day. I'm cautiously optimistic.
  3. I was there, about 4 rows from the stage. Was pretty awesome though I wasn't in love with the set-list. Wanted more off AJFA and even Master. Was hoping for at least one of the more rare ones this tour, Harvester, Blackened, or Inamorata etc. I think this was my 5th time seeing them. But still, two hours of great music and we lost 2-3 songs because of the 11pm Charlotte curfew. I recently had emergency gallbladder surgery with complications so I didn't know if I could handle standing but luckily got through it, I mean it's Metallica. My friend had his 11 year old there for his first real concert and everyone around us was working hard to get him a pick and have fun (my nephew ended up grabbing a pick for him). We had a friend with employee paring nearby that dumps out of the city fast so only a 10 minute walk and we were out of there but I heard traffic was bad.
  4. Yeah, it’s a bad defense with an unproven offense with potential. Not the same thing at all.
  5. Mcshays new podcast ranking qbs, they are saying if arch comes out (they dont think he will) there could be 8 or 9 qbs in the first 2 rounds. Damn this class is loaded with talent
  6. Your comment about STs is spot on. I coached one season with a former UNC LB (Dwight Hollier) who played with the Dolphins and Colts as a player. He said, "If you want to stay around in the NFL, you better make some noise on special teams." He said (paraphrasing) "The special teams coach has a voice when they are making cuts. You want him going to bat for you. A backup LB with no ST skills is a nonfactor, but a backup LB who makes plays on special teams is valuable. "
  7. Today
  8. He did. I remember watching a game and asked, "Who is that?" Windmon's stats in limited play were solid. I remember commenting on him here at the time. He had 3 pressures as well in 128 snaps. PFF game him a pass rush grade of 64. I do not see any help added right now.
  9. I do not like the 2015 comparisons. We had a good defense with an elite core and an offense with a good core. This entire team is still a question mark and I will be surprised if we win 9 games.
  10. No you've just become an oldhead my brother. Most popular music is sex/money/drugs and always has been. The country couple is cute together but it does worry me a bit that Legette's a social media cowboy crush before he's even football famous. Like if Taylor Swift was at the beginning of Kelce's career. Normally athletes have to stay relevant in their sport to date in this sphere but Xavier has a modeling career waiting for him if his day job ends up being a bust.
  11. We did not draft any inside linebackers. We play a 3-4 in which the inside and outside linebackers are different to the extent they have separate position coaches. These are essentially different groups altogether.
  12. Pleasantly surprised. Didn't think Bryce was the type.
  13. When you realize Shaq had to carry Rhule/Snow and Reich/Canales/Evero after having success under Rivera/McDermott/Wilks and Wilks/Holcomb, you know the problem was never Shaq.
  14. Bitches love Tupperware. I distribute the Brilliance set at Christmas like a true pimp.
  15. Yeah, it's not necessarily about who is the best player for the moment, it's about the direction we are headed as a franchise. Seems to be that Morgan has doubled down on a youth movement, so why not see it through?
  16. No, we just drafted 2 rookies. If we could get him reasonably....
  17. "same old Carolina Panthers" is so wild because I remember when we use to actually be good lol now we're synonymous with losing
  18. Gano is still in town if anything.
  19. lol! Captain. Had no idea he worked for the panthers.
  20. Did we hire Dan Campbell as our head coach?
  21. Jacoby Windmon really flashed to me when he got snaps late last year, both in the run & pass game. I researched bc I had no idea who he was. As a redshirt junior at Michigan State in 2022, Windmon compiled an impressive first half of the season, leading the nation with six forced fumbles and collecting 5.5 sacks. However, he got into a fight and was suspended for the last 4 games of 2022, then battled injuries and a nondescript 2023 season before being an UDFA last year. PFF gave him a 64 pass rush grade (58/189) last season in his limited snaps, which is good. Windmon generated 3 preasures and a sack in only 11 snaps as a pass rusher. Certainly not bad. Maybe he can develop into a Luvu type player. I do think he's got some legit upside and can claim one of the backup ILB spots. I also think they value Jon Rattigen as a depth ILB and core ST player. Evero usually keeps 5 ILBs, and like others have mentioned they also seem to like Wooten & Cherulus also so thats 6 guys there if you add Jewell & Wallace who will definitely be on the roster. So maybe they dont bring in any further outside help. Like others have said, if they do it will almost certainly be at TC or final cuts at this point.
  22. I think you are absolutely right. I think there will be some "reluctant" cuts in August by other teams and, in my view, that is the best time to pick up some depth. We grabbed some last year and added to our depth.
