I didn’t post on here nearly 9 months because of the bullshit, but am too addicted to Panthers watching and fanning to hold out any longer. I have been ‘up to here’ with the constant back and forth since I came back and have abstained from making comments many times. And engage in plenty of other aspects of players on the Panthers roster and the season and the games but I only get treated poorly by the pro Bryce fans.

Evero, Canales, Bryce all tied together through at least next year. Honestly, it’s one of the smarter things Tepper has done. it gives you the opportunity to see if this squad can continue to grow before making any extension decisions. If next year bombs out, you have a pretty easy reset with a fresh staff, a high pick, a talented roster, and no qb crippling contract.

It wasnt just the split i dont think, it was also Cannales swapping backs mid drive after 1 or 2 carries, he really wasnt letting either one get a rhythm going.

Bryce Young has half the talent or less, however. That's an issue.

Rookie pass rushers rarely get 10 sacks regardless of were they are drafted, Thst said you seem to be assuming Scourton will stay a 5 sack guy, (which i don't) he tops out as a 8-10 sack guy tho IMO if hes your primary pass rush threat, has the robbin to a pure rusher i could see him getting more though.

Yeah the carries were really meager a lot of times. 30 to 35 split relatively evenly gets him enough to get going. I think he sees himself as the bell cow, and is looking for 25 of the 35.

His QBR for the first 8 games of the season 45.8, his qbr for the last 8 games 50.1....byoung is byoung beginning or end of the year he is who he is.

I did a mock draft and I believe someone else did and Styles was available at 19. We'll have to see how this plays out. Not out of the question though.

Regarding the early games, it will help a lot if we have some consistency in the receiving corps. In the early part of this season, his best receiver was a rookie, his go to guy (Thielen) went to another team, and if memory serves, Sanders and Coker were injured. And Leggette has some issues. I think some of you greatly under estimate how important familarity and being in sync with receivers can be for a QB.

Did he really play that much better or worse throughout the season looks like a normal byoung all season long except for the 2nd atlanta game . The arizona game his stats show good but his play straight sucked until they went total prevent.

Take a look at Luke Altmyer too, good stats at Illinois and could be worth a flier late in the draft.

I’m not falling for the trap again, I will say I’m leaning more towards being more critical of canales than Bryce but still a long term deal shouldn’t even be a discussion I will say I’m the slightest bit optimistic that canales is the bigger problem, since when Coker gets more snaps than xl Bryce doesn’t seem to have as many issues, and canales for whatever reason, just seems reluctant to put the best players on the field and in position, this was a theme all year for him

Daddy Tepper has clearly setup the game for all these folks to be shown the door together. It all hinges on Bryce. They all know it and have accepted it.

Maybe we actually have a legitimate preseason at this time and let him get that crap out of the way those games
