Yep pretty much nailed it. He was the #1 overall pick for a reason and he’s starting to show why. Can he keep showing it into the end of next year or do we have to make a very difficult decision next season? Tbd
-
Yes, although slavin only played with boom the one game. Then it was walker
-
Boom isnt soft, neither is Chatty

He's under contract. He'll be here to fight for another spot. I pray they bring in a veteran to push him, or even beat him. Of course rece8vers are always expensive, regardless of their ability. Not sure why Coker is in this thread.

The coaches can't figure out what to do with BY9 much less Leggette

There is a lot of talk about his IQ and his commitment to the game and this and that and no one can firmly say one way or another unless they are with him day to day. Not to mention the standards don't jive with the presented reasoning for defending Bryce Young’s rookie season and subsequent beginning of his sophomore season and third season to where we are now 40+ games as he is finally beginning to string together better QB play. When I think of Legette present day I think back to Ted Ginn being a pretty significant bust with the Dolphins as a 9th overall pick and then coming to Carolina (twice) and still struggling with the same mental errors on the field and Cam Newton going back to him again and again and again and even going to a Super Bowl with him as the #1 WR. Deactivating him is weak. Figure something out to his strengths for the rest of the season and reassess in the offseason.

I think the season has been a success. I try to look back at what I said would be a successful season before week 1 and we have reached that. The success though has you wanting more haha. But we've had improvements and are right there fighting. Bryce has improved which was a big thing we needed. Hope we improves more obviously. But I agree with others about Evero, unless we have an offense putting up 30 points a game I don't like this type of defense he has. No pressure either. The biggest issues I see with this team are, zero pressure on the QB, soft zones, and the horrible special teams play on kickoffs/return coverage. So I wouldn't mind replacing Evero if someone better is available and definitely get someone new running special teams. When you combine Evero's defense and the fact we allow teams such good field position often it's a bad match. Overall, we have won 8 games which is crazy.

He seems to just be a low IQ player on the field. We obviously keep him but we have to figure a way to use his strengths. Right now he's probably the worst receiver we have. I'd like to see Horn on the field more to stretch defenses for one. There's no way you can convince me XL is helping us more than if we had Renfrow on the field for clutch third downs. XL is a good blocker though and as others pointed out I wonder if he could be better suited for a TE but I'm not sure there either.

Cosell was pretty upfront about the pros and cons of Bryce and he was correct about it all. One other key thing that will conflict with a loud contingent on this board is he directly said we have a better offense than people give them credit for. Interesting.

This is the only correct answer. Rozeboom volume tackles, he misses some, but at least he’s in the frame. Wallace does nothing, check the stats folks. Check his mic’d up, he was incredibly slow and did nothing. No instincts, no urgency

Arrowhead is done, as Chiefs make move to Kansas.

On the one hand I think most Chiefs fans are insufferable. On the other hand. What amounts to free handouts for Billionaires (while feeding the poor is a big problem for some) at the expense of taxpayers while said taxpayers have no level of ownership of the venue is disgusting. And the fact it is still a discussion is why capitalism is where it is to the point we live in a landscape out of something from a dystopia film now. Meanwhile there is a man who coined the term "trickle down economics" that we have to thank for all this while he is still revered by some for whatever warped reasoning. -
Merry KEEP POUNDING Christmas

You too--we are celebrating mediocrity right now, but after 7 years of sucking, we'll take it. Best to you and yours.

Merry Christmas to you all. I hope your Christmas gift is win the NFC South and go to the playoffs!

Wallace isn't bad, he's just not quite ready yet. He's improved from last year forsure but he still needs another offseason or two. I think they'll resign Roze and keep him as depth. Our biggest problem is the lack of pass rush. That should be priority #1 in FA. Draftwise we'll probably be in a good spot to grab one of the two Ohio State LB's.

Two games moments that forever live in mind: I can't remember who we were playing but I vividly remember JStew gliding all over the field. The other one was against the Saints at BOA in the rain... where Luke was tackling everything moving. The rain was looking like waterfalls pouring out of the drains during the broadcast. Still not a fan of too much wind tho. -
Give me a name and and an address. I have a ski mask, fake license plates, and I just sawed the orange tip off my son's pellet pistol. Give me the word. You can have those tickets.
