  1. Past hour
  2. polynesian football player from LA - same concept as the puerto ricans and dominicans in NY im white so i dont play gatekeeper but he obviously has always gotten a pass. also when youre the best player on your team like hes been his whole life nobody is gonna check him on it lol
  3. Icky was really starting to round into form at times this season. He was one of the primary reasons the Panthers beat the Packers. Parsons couldn’t do anything against Icky. Really sucks he had this happen to him in the playoffs and now he’s staring down his career potentially being over. He will get his chance to come back and I hope he does, but if I’m the panthers I’m prepping as if he is never stepping on the field again
  4. Cam is mentioned on the list, and I think he’s eventually getting in. But it’s gonna take the right year and some time. He’s a HOF level talent and he did show it on the field. But he’s not first ballot with a number of other QBs ahead of him with more accolades and superbowl rings.
  5. Getting rid of MJ is what this franchise needed.
  6. The defenses the Heels put on the field opposite those Howell and Maye offenses was just absolutely negligent. If we'd had just run of the mill average defenses we could've made real noise. We could move the ball and score at will, but so could our opponents only easier. It was like watching the Rams/Seahawks game. One team is competing by their QB making insane plays and the other team was getting big chunk plays with ease.
  7. Caleb looks like he is going to be a huge star. It isnt just his ability to score it is the ease and efficiency that he does it. I really like that kid
  8. really happy for Luke. He's not the most influential panther of all time. But I think he will go down as the best Panther ever in terms of his impact at his position. Just unbelievably talented but also a wizard in terms of play recognition and diagnosis.
  9. Houston announcers made a good comparison. Chris Mullin. That is a lofty comparison this early but i can see it.
  10. really unfortunate the timing didn't work out for us to draft him would have been a special story. I said it when I watched him in college. This is the best player I've ever watched live as a college player. UNC had some sorry teams and he carried them.
  11. Panthers need to pay him like a proper WR#2 stat. People will balk at the contract initially but look at the FA market for WRs the last few years. Good ones just don't become available anymore.
  12. I see NCSU in your username. feel so bad for him. local kid, rooted for him so hard when we drafted him. finally came into his own and then just this devastating injury. sucks man
  13. NAS

    Drake Maye

Since people are taking a bow on being right about players months before they were drafted. I was right about Drake Maye over 3 years ago! Even I didn't imagine he would be a couple of votes away from winning the NFL MVP award his second year in the NFL.
  14. Best off the ball LB I've ever seen when you consider all the things he did pre-snap. He wasn't just an elite player, he was a Brady/Manning level QB mind at MLB making sure we were in the right play with the right checks and that everyone was on the same page.
  15. Very interesting class. In an alternative world where AB never went off the rails and LeVeon Bell stayed on the Steelers, all 3 of the killer bees might have made it in Looking at that list. Adrian Peterson and Big Ben should be lock first ballots. I think bellicheat and eli will also probably get in.
  16. I haven't paid any attention to the NBA in decades. Honestly since the Larry Johnson/Alonzo Mourningg days for the Hornets and Jordan's retirement for the NBA in general. Maybe that'll change if the Hornets become seriously relevant again. Another Heels star would definitely help too. We haven't had a legit NBA superstar since Vince Carter. We've gad some good players since but no legit superstars. Maybe Caleb Wilson will change that.
  17. Today
  18. Here are ten newly eligible players (added to the list of those who are still eligible but didnt get votes this year) https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article/2027-pro-football-hall-of-fame-class-rob-gronkowski-adrian-peterson-ben-roethlisberger-lead-stacked-group-of-first-time-candidates-063555439.html
  19. I haven't seen anyone say it'll be easy next season. Personally think major improvements with regards to pass rush and offensive playmakers are needed to take the next step. Won 8 games after playing 7 playoff teams and both superbowl teams in 2025. And that's with Hunt, Chuba and Coker injured most of the season. A rookie and XL were your top 2 WRs. Rozeboom was your green dot LB. Have to think there will be improvements in WR and pass rush, just because the top guys aren't rookies anymore. Long shot for 9-10 wins, but it's possible.
  20. Hornets win 8 in a row and handed KD an L. Love to see it.
  21. The Rags are a trainwreck. If there was ever such a thing as a 2-0 beatdown, this was it. NY had zero serious scoring chances while Quick probably played his best game of the season. Canes collected a post and 2 crossbars, adding to their ridiculous number of near misses. Carolina allowed just 16 shots on goal, including a stretch from 5 minutes remaining in the 1st period to 9 minutes left in the 2nd where Bussi didn't see an SOG.
  22. Got the win, and Brandon had a pretty quiet night. This is a good team. The team has made it to the play-in ranks. Tied for 10th now, but Chicago is about to free fall. They’re going to be horrible the rest of the way
