  1. Today
  2. General observations: 1. Too much pressure without having to send extra guys. Generally a bad situation to counter. 2. More success running out toward the perimeter. And yet, we kept going back inside where we struggled. 3. Panthers receivers beating man coverage remains a problem. 4. I feel Bryce has been baited into that type of throw before. 5. Seemed there wasn't as much misdirection.
  3. What does this guy know? Big time throws don't even need to travel five yards, and we've got the guy for those throws.
  4. So the fans who dont attend games in Chapel Hill would pack BofA?
  5. Fell asleep end of 2 and missed the comeback lol. Nice win!
  6. Backing into the Playoffs with an 8-9 NFC South title is the most on brand thing possible for the Tepper owned Panthers.
  7. Because he likely has the same fear a few of us do which is a win and playoff appearance means the FO will subject us to years more of Bryce and the QB play that comes with him. Bryce as our franchise QB for the next 5 years is like signing up to be punched in the dick a dozen Sundays a season for half a decade. Our FO has not made one right decision with our QB room in the 8 years Tepper has been owner. Do you trust them to make the right one if we make the playoffs with a one and done? If you knew missing the playoffs this year meant we would be a perennial contender in 3 years, would you cheer for missing the playoffs this year? I want them to win. I also want no 4th year, 5th year option or extension. I've seen more than enough. Sadly, I don't think we can have both options.
  8. It wouldn't be about division, it would be about group record. The Panthers would be 2-0 vs the Falcons and 1-1 vs the Bucs. Therefore win the three way tiebreaker via a 3-1 record among the three teams.
  9. Nice, no better way for the NFC South winner to be chosen that some crap like that. poo Mountain at its finest
  10. I dont see how there can be 5 deep passes from goal line to goal line. 2 at most. A true deep ball is 40 plus in the air to me.
  11. Good one. Can you imagine if we lose Saturday and the league has to wait on Atlanta to play their game a day later?
  12. https://x.com/mysportsupdate/status/2005854209854373981?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA The Panthers–Bucs game on Saturday is no longer a win-and-in game for Tampa. Even if the Bucs win, the Panthers would still take the division if the Falcons beat the Saints on Sunday
  13. Happy New Year 2026 & January Jumping!

  14. I mean would you find it useful to subdivide the over 19 yards stuff into some categories? Lot of ways that could be divided and give you some more accurate pictures than lumping everything that basically isn’t a short pass into one bin. Defining short medium intermediate long deep from 0 to 40 or 45 seems to offer far more detail out of your numbers than what they do now. That is one thing I learned thanks to Bryce - the 20 yard deep ball rule. I never ever considered 20 yards a deep shot, in my life. And everyone is talking about his deep ball… and it’s a 20 yard pass. I definitely rebelled.
  15. The Panthers would be the 4th team in NFL history (including the 2014 Panthers) to win their division with a losing record. If the Falcons win and we lose, of course. Let’s just take care of business and beat Tampa.
  16. Now the Rams say they have to play their starters next week, so big deal for them not getting the job done to get some rest.
  17. 2009 Chris Gamble and Richard Marshall Marshall was such a stud that season. So inconsistent otherwise.
  18. If the Falcons beat the Saints we can lose and still win the division
  19. To each their own, but this is such a crazy perspective to have. Are the Panthers not your favorite team? Why would you not want to see them play an extra week? Yeah, we aren't very good. And yeah, we will likely be an easy out in the playoffs. But we haven't had a playoff game since 2017. We haven't hosted a playoff game since 2015. How is this not something to get excited about, regardless of what we "deserve or don't deserve"? I won't insult anyone the same way OP did. But to me, calling yourself a Panthers fan but actively rooting against them getting into the playoffs is just ludicrous IMO. And screw the Bucs. Even if we don't "deserve" to make it, neither do the Bucs. Why would any Panthers fan be rooting for them?
