This is what I mean. I am not some huge BY fan. I honestly don't look at QBs the way a lot of you guys do. Right or wrong, I've always looked at them as just another cog in the machine. Didn't want BY or even a trade up for a QB in 2023. We saw in the Super Bowl how important the rest of the team is on any given Sunday. Now... so PFF, who has no reason to prop up BY, says he's first in 2 stat lines and Panthers "fans" are arguing why it's either wrong or a made up stat just to make BY look good. Even though they have multiple stat lines where he's literally last in. Like 32nd in the NFL. Some he's even lower than 32. Take a step back. Try to objectively self analyze. This is just not sensible. Same thing I see with other teams' fans and their QBs though. We analyze every single throw on every single play. For every other QB, most here are only using highlights to judge. Makes a difference. We saw Stafford miss throws when they played Carolina - both games. We saw Love throw crap up when they played Carolina. We saw Dak miss throws when they played Carolina - and Pickens was putting on a SHOW. We saw Josh Allen win a game with 163 yards passing against Carolina, but if BY does it he's crap and can't pass for 200 yards. Gents... come on.

None of us think we're contenders this season but no reason we're doomed to 5 or 6 wins either. Dan has to have another 2025- like draft class and at least 2 key free agent signings. We're not Seattle but they don't win without 5 starters from their last 2 draft classes and Darnold and Lawrence in free agency. Alas, we'll have to wait one more season for a QB upgrade.

I've got nothing else to say really than: Ayup. Here we are again. Again. All we can really hope for is progress. If we improve as much again, it'll be good. If we don't, it'll be foretold.

I'm still hesitant to think we would replace Canales. Bryce goes first, Canales gets an extra year to prove it after the fact IMO. But...all the more reason I *think* we're playing this the right way. Keep building the team this year, and then drop a 2027 QB in on his rookie deal, or if we can make a move for a legit Burrow level guy, the team is theoretically built and ready to contend right away.

Funny you say that because for once I actually think team USA is just as stacked more firepower than any past US Olympics team by far, two of the top 3 Norris candidates, Thr best defensive D man.... Honestly they should he starting Swayman IMO though hes much better than Halleybuck this yeat.

I just read what I posted. I should have added that the fact that we didn’t have a WTF loss points to us learning how to win. It is evidence of that. Those really ugly wins, like vs NYJ and the Packers, they are losses with losers. I mean with a team hasn’t learned how to win. That is a thing we went through in 2002, and early 2003 to begin with. Instead of losing the tossup situations, we found a way to hold on and come out with a W. Most of the time. I don’t know if we can sustain it I guess we’ll see.

I've watched him throw the ball away on 4th down. Are we really surprised cherry picked stats look good when he outright refuses to throw into tight windows, something literally every other QB in the NFL does. It's like saying someone in the NBA is a great shooter because of their field goal percentage - nevermind that they ONLY shoot wide open layups, refuse to shoot otherwise and average 5 points a game. Zoom out and look at big picture metrics, the complete story looks alot different - 27th in scoring (despite an above average supporting cast), 32nd in yards-per-attempt, 30th in yards-per-game.

I don’t think he is on a hot seat right now but it could get warm very quickly. I think making the playoffs and having his QB pull out some key games allows many warts to be overlooked. At the moment. Once October rolls around I think anything could happen.

He should be. But his reason for being here is not solely dependent on making something out of Young. His main job is to win football games and he's not doing to well without help. What he does next season will make or break him as a coach here.

Chambliss won his eligiblity complaint; he's headed back to Ole Miss. The '27 class just got even deeper. Talking heads on the radio are ALREADY saying teams should/will tank for a shot to get a franchise QB in the draft a little over a year from now. Right now after the #1 overall pick, Medoza to the Raiders, Ty Simpson is QB2 and it's being debated if he's even going in the first round. A lot of people have the Steelers taking him, but if they don't, he's sliding to round 2. I think the Steelers are gun shy after the Kenny Pickett selection about taking a late round 1 QB.

What proof do you have that they "know he's not the one"? Are you prevy to some insider information or is this just your opinion. Just seems to me that if they knew he's not the one, then why pick up the 5th year option. And why would they hide that fact that he's not the one. After all, they didn't draft him and continuing to play him knowing he isn't "the one" just makes them look bad.

Just to add, Ive dated athletic women for a good period in my prime. Facts are they have manly features cause of low fat%. I dated a college softball SS that was 2nd all-time at her division 1 school in many categories. 185-210 power lifters types during the whole cross fit era. Many times the "bad angle" hurt them more......in fact I stopped taking pictures in gen..... I miss them all, they treated me better than my "gyatt and broke" period.... There is NOTHING wrong with that female type in my finding.... Id 100% date many of the WNBA women, but they got to want to date a man for starters......

Im no fan. *was Facts are he took a terrible 2 win team and won 5 without early 1st and dead cap hell. Then in his second year with a minor improved roster, won 8 with NFC south turd championship. I mean..... he's doing 5x better than I thought he could with limited help and him with no EXP. He should get a full 2026. He is building a better team, no matter me not believing in his overly happy methods... Let him cook as the youth say...
