Gracias, amigo! So elated that he's now a Panther. I'm guessing his 40-time dropped him and the overall PSU program this past year didn't help boost his stock at all. Guys like Wheatley, DDS and Allar all fell. I'm confident he's a perfect compliment to Moehrig and love having a true center fielder here now. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually takes Scott's snaps by the end of the year.

Wheatley is the pick I'm pretty stoked about. Size - Check Football IQ - Check Fundamentals - Check Comes from a big program - Check *Roamer - Can play two high, single high and slot *Notably has a balanced Pass/Rush D skillset. Not really deficient at either. - Surprised he was there but this was a loaded safety class. Hope we got one of the guys that rises to the top once we get to real games. Hope he kills it and we can have a bit of a rotation with him and Ransom in 5/6DB sets.

I think King was their guy all along and they knew they could get him after the draft. Im wondering if they like him because he cam bring a different element to the offense and be a gadget type player

Cannot judge a draft class until 3 seasons have gone through. It takes that l9ng to determine if the first 3 rounds were worth their selection. Some may become obvious sooner bit some positions take a while longer.

Very happy with this draft and free agency.

If this draft class works out maybe we need to start hiring the mock draft big board guys and tell the PFFers to fug off. LOL
