  1. Past hour
  2. No. His first 2-3 games were, but his rookie year in general was solid. His second year was pretty bad, but he's been solid overall since.
  3. Before the Cowboys game, I would have said but BC at RT and Corbett at RG once he comes back. After watching how good Nijman played at RT Sunday (granted, the Cowboy's Dline isn't good), Corbett can serve as depth whether Moton can suit up or not.
  4. It's too early to dedicate our first pick in the draft to an edge rusher when we have so many holes to fill but there are some good ones. That first pick might have to be a qb.
  5. Yep - honestly though, I thought his coverage was as good as you could possibly do on a man coverage crossing route with Dak having all day to throw. Dak made a perfect throw and if it wasn't in front of Pickens, it could have easily been picked off. Seemed like we ran more man than I have seen our defense run so far this year. Defense also did a great job of playing their gap/zone responsibilities (even if Dak did pick apart our zone a good chunk of the game) - that screen play on the last drive could easily have gone for a touchdown if Moehrig didn't play his zone and make a great tackle. Biggest complaint about Evero was not blitzing a few more times (especially when Dallas was in the red zone). The few times we did it, Dak didn't look comfortable.
  6. There was some pretty egregious missed calls vs the Chiefs in the Lions game, especially Kelce. The completion where he clearly used the ground to catch the ball. The hold in front of the ref as Pacheco ran by where the defender was trying to turn around and couldnt because Kelce had him by the jersey. Mahomes openly taunting after scoring a TD. 0 penalties after double digit the week before. Cmon.
  7. People get trade happy and look at resources as barter items. They fail to see them as resources to be used to our benefit rather than someone else's. Right now, Chuba and Rico are massive benefits to us and a strong rushing attack so greatly benefits any passer, much less a young one like Bryce still is. And the better our running game, the more our offense can eat up the clock, the less time our defense is on the field. And that is priceless, too. Don't mess with the running game. Don't mess with the receivers. Maybe look at our O-line and think we may have hit on something good during these injuries. Look at our D-line and seem some strength evolving there. Our secondary has its good spots and some that are still developing. Our linebacking corps did well this last outing. Our special teams are on a major upswing as of this past week. Heck, even our QB is showing us a little something right now that we can build on. Perhaps putting out a yard sale sign right now might be less advantageous than looking at the team and saying, "You are all part of something good that is happening. We want to see that continue to grow."
  8. Prepare to get shafted this Sunday, we're playing a NY team IN NY, err NJ
  9. Garrett Wilson is out for Sunday's Game (2) Adam Schefter on X: "An MRI today revealed that Jets WR Garrett Wilson hyperextended his knee and he now is expected to miss, as one source said, “a couple of weeks.” https://t.co/HBOBdEfBI2" / X
  10. It is what it is this year. Rookies will get better and we will hopefully draft an elite guy in the 1st this year. Unless there’s a generational corner or LB I think the pick is edge
  11. how many years you want to spending watching for that? and we got big decisions coming up in terms of what to do at the QB spot. You want to be like the Jags and instead of dumping big money into middle of the road QB, dump it into a bottom tier QB?
  12. I think all personal fouls (late hit, roughing the passer, etc.) should all be reviewed when called on the field. And these are reviews that shouldn't take very long - that awful roughing the passer call could have very easily lost us the game.
  13. I don't think officials are biased. I think that is lunacy. That would be about the only way to break the multi-billion dollar money printing machine that is the National Football League. I do think some teams are harder to officiate than others. Some teams do a better job taking advantage of the rules. And officials make mistakes. We see it more with teams like the Cowboys and the Chiefs because they are on national TV more often.
  14. I just want to see the kid progress and get better. Maybe he is a slow learner and will come into form eventually.
  15. I am not a conspiracy guy and usually take these arguements with a grain of salt but I just read this study from the university of Texas El Paso where they looked at the Chiefs playoff games and they found a clear bias towards the Chiefs in those games. I know the Cowboys aren't the Chiefs but they are America's team and bring in ratings (ad dollars) so I can see the bias. UTEP study showing officiating favoring the Chiefs
  16. I mean, I don't know about the Bryce thing but Fields is The Golden Calf of Bristol-esque.
  17. I specifically called out it's a joke to bring up Jake and Cam when talking about Bryce Young and his GWDs....(it's LITERALLY mentioned in the OP. You know the post that started this thread). and for the 100000x time, Bryce Young is clearly one of the reasons, and often one of the primary reasons we have trailed in the 4th quarter of every single game of his NFL career minus 1. This isn't even something that is debatable in reality. Nothing about that statement has been proven false. It's not just Bryce Young IMPLODING in games and putting us in a massive holes in games. It's the fact he has produced bottom of the barrel passing offense his entire career (every year)....and when you get bottom of the barrel passing O consistently every single seaosn from your QB.....winning is very very very hard. It's an O and passing league. If you are essentially dead last since arriving into the NFL.....it's sort of a big deal in a bad way. And Bryce Young has been painfully consistent there (stats shared each year). And it doesn't matter the OC, the OL, the weapons....the bottom of barrel passing production is the same. He 100% is a reason and often the reason this team is forever in a "GWD' scenarios trailing in the 4th every single Sunday (minus 1 in his now going on 3 year career)
  18. Go back and watch the Lions Chiefs game this week and its the same thing. The NFL wasnt going to let the Chiefs be 2-4. The NFL is an entertainment league. They can have the refs steer games however they like.
  19. Did we find out if he actually called for the ball there? The fumble was also a really good punch by the Dallas defender
  20. He had a down second year but called himself out and has improved since. Going to have to cut some cap from that oline first tho
  21. They haven't even been to an NFC Championship Game since we whooped them in the 96 playoffs
  22. Weird since he put up with so much bad here for so long.
  23. My guess is that Ben Johnson and him aren't getting along but someone is leaking these trade rumors for sure
  24. I agree, unless there is a young talent available that fits our timeline I would just hold steady at the trade deadline
