  2. thanks to this one guy, we have the oldest roster in the NFL--48.4 years. Without him, we are at 25.6. Go figure.
  3. Beginning to thing that JJ Jansen will be able to get his social security check by the time he retires.
  4. JJ Jansen CARLong Snapper#44 Panthers re-signed LS J.J. Jansen to a one-year deal. The long-time snapper of snaps longer than the average snap will enter his age-40 season with the Panthers in 2026. Jansen has played in every single game of Panthers football since signing with the club as a UDFA in 2009. He has recovered one fumble and made one Pro Bowl. He also has snapped many, many balls a moderate distance away from his person in an attempt to set up some good punts and kicks.
  5. Panthers have the right type of receivers in that locker room. Ty would destroy everything that Canales and Morgans built so far
  6. Champions league today. My one play, revenge...
  7. Today
  8. Honestly, if that many OTs drop in the draft to us, I would question why they are and if it is because they aren't 1st round talent. I feel like the only OT I have seen top 15 across the board is Mauigoa. All of the other ones have been all over the place from late teens to like 40 from draft big boards I have seen.
  9. You aren't going to get anything for XL and I'd give him another year before pulling the plug. A lot of WRs don't break out until their third year. Panthers shouldn't be dropping 20 million on any free agent unless it is a LT or pass rusher.
  10. #1 PG and top 10 overall recruit just committed to UNC.
  11. Steve Smith was that way---but not the extreme of some of these guys---they get worse when you pay them too.
  12. The only pick I like in that mock is Branch, Bryce needs a quick and shifty WR. The other two picks are terrible.
  13. No on Tyreek Hill, he's past his prime and coming off a major injury. They should definitely bring in Chubb, he would instantly upgrade LB/EDGE and he's already familiar with Evero's scheme.
  14. Injuries happen on the oline and I think it's extremely irresponsible to think that you can buy a season long starting line that won't get hurt. We need to be drafting at least 1 lineman per year, ideally a T every 2 and an IOL at least late day 2, early 3 or in the later rounds with a UDFA guard/center or 2 that can hang out on the practice squad. We bought a starting oline instead of developing a multi-tiered one with vets, rookie contracts, and PS backups. JMO, but we should be carrying 4 tackles, 5 interior OL with a true starting center and 1 G/T plug in. We need to use those protected spots on the PS as effectively as possible and get that cap number back under control. Oline just eats players every season and it's a beast you constantly need to feed.
  15. It will most likely happen given our circumstances. But it's gotten us into murky waters in the past. Specifically we talked often about being in "cap hell" due to so many restructures from Hurney once upon a time. For myself I'll accept it if we are using the savings to assemble a dominant young defense. I want a complete team again. If we use it to continue doubling down on the offense to prop up one player eventually everyone involved is going to see themselves out of a job.
  16. It was not just an ACL tear, he dislocated his knee and had damage to other ligaments. There’s no telling whether he will be the same again in terms of health/speed at age 32.
  17. I believe on Catcrave there was an article stating that we could restructure Hunt and Lewis (as well as horn, brown, and a couple others I am forgetting) to free up some cap room. Not sure I am a fan of this tactic as it eventually will come to a head with some aging players down the line. But its one way to get our OL cost way down but I kindof hate the tactic of kicking the can down the road
  18. Dude is scum. He has a criminal history that is public record. Look it up if you haven't. Multiple domestic violence incidents plus child abuse. No need to intentionally bring a piece of poo like that into your locker room.
  19. Really don't understand why this conversation is so contentious or why people are in their feelings over it. The possibility of it actually happening is minimal at best. And besides. The Panthers have already tried introducing a malcontent WR that another team was eager to move on from into the locker room. It's the last thing we need at this point in time.
  20. It's the Raiders lol. They're not afraid of anything
  21. So you mean a team is going to pick him up, but aren't they afraid he's going to set the locker room on fire and lace the Gatorade?
  22. Clarification. For 2026 so far we are actually now third in OL salary cap at 89.6 million. Still way too much given our offensive output.
  23. I see him going to Vegas since they don't have any receivers whatsoever. Tyreek, Brock Bowers, second year Ashton Jeanty and if Fernando Mania pans out would be a decent offense.
