  2. That’s not exactly true, good defense teams almost always have a pro bowl level fs, that usually can match up against TE’s and in the slot. A Kyle Hamilton, Brian Branch or Xavier McKinney type could transform this defense, especially in a division with shough, baker and Tua/penix
  3. Morgan will find a way to fake out everyone like he did with Walker last year. Will have everyone convinced we are taking him or Woods or somebody and grab Jordan Tyson, CJ Allen, or something. I also wouldn’t be shocked if he traded back to the late 20s and took a tackle.
  4. They will go “BPA” for 4-5 positions that they see as a a group they want to add into. Probably LB, DL, T, TE or WR. I don’t think they will take the best player off the board if it’s a RB or G. If that makes sense.
  5. I still wouldn’t be shocked if we brought in a UDFA just for competition. Martin is 37 when the season starts
  6. Today
  7. Dude Angie seem like a solid ass wife wtf was Steve Smith thinking? I mean, he’s always lightweight been a piece of poo but bruh, breaking your vows to fug a chick in a marching band? That’s really shitty.
  8. The modern NFL doesn't value Free Safety. So to modernize is to put a low priority on the position. We are already there.
  9. touche. LETS see how your little buddy does in the playoffs at Center....
  10. Here is my perfect mock draft...I have no idea why McDonald fell so far, but I would supplement him with Domonique "Big Citrus" Orange in real life. This draft would cook!!!!
  11. How did you see this and say his athleticism doesn't show up? They literally run bubble screen with him.. a tight.. how rare is that and he pulls away from people making big home run plays. If nothing else you see the speed and that he's a hands catcher. I get his route running isn't where it needs to be yet which is why he is even possibly on the board at 19.
  12. Yeah, I thought he played better the 2nd half of the season also. That being said, he definitely got picked apart in the playoff game and only got the INT in the other Rams game because of DB deflecting the ball at the LOS
  13. I think that's good value. I'm in the minority, but I actually thought Nick Scott played pretty well the 2nd half of the year, minus the Rams playoffs game. Hopefully he isn't our starting FS next year and can be backup FS and be the special teams contributor he should have been since day 1 from us.
  14. I still think Sadiq has too many red flags to take with our 1st round pick. We are talking about a guy that averaged 40 yards/game, despite having a spread offense that is easy to produce yards in with Oregon + a Heisman caliber QB. You can have all the straight line speed and vertical in the world - if you don't know how to run routes, read zone defenses, and use your body to body up defenders to make contested catches, you aren't going to be great in the NFL. His athleticism does not show up on tape at all for me and I don't see him being successful as an inline tight end. If we are going to take a chance on tight ends that disappointed in college that probably can't be an inline TE, I would much rather use a pick on Klare in the 3rd round.
  15. kenny picket has been my least favorite signing by the panthers so far mainly bc of his cost thought better options cheaper existed. non panther team news cant believe chiefs traded and are gonna let jfields back up mahomes
  16. then this is likely his last job. (Kidding--long story about ASU and me--still not over it) He was very good last year.
  17. Great QB play, yes. I am guilty of thinking we don’t have it so why bother with TE. I just get negative on things in general over it. But TE, and do they make the difference? I will say this, I forget what year it was, but KC was in the playoffs and people were playing them tight and when it came down to it they could not cover Kelce. No answer for him. So they can make a big difference. FWIW Kelce was a third round pick. I suspect you will find many famous successful TEs who were not 1st rounders. I am against using the 1st on Sadiq this year. But would welcome taking another shot if we can find a good bet later on.

  19. This, and also ''how'' the 1st year of the deal actually pays. As an example, Phillips' first year is 9M. Whereas in 27, and beyond, the cap hit is much higher at 30M+. However, future restructures / extensions can address the new, higher cap hits if needed. A'Shawn Robinson was also released, and that created 10M in space. Moving on from Andy (eventually), I believe, will also add another 4M eventually.
  20. I don't understand how they got this cap to spend on free agents. Can someone explain it? I though we only had 20 million and we still have to pay the rookies.
