Taking it to the Lions in the coldest game in the history of BOA was the literal high point of the Tepper era. We had an identity, and it was that we're going to line up and run the ball down your throat. It was nothing fancy but the team clearly loved Steve Wilks and played hard for him.

As insane as it sounds..... they have been so awful at everything that legitimately even with the clown show that happens here we make better choices.

They need Coker back. Easiest solution IMO is to put Coker on the outside and view XL like a Laviska Shenault type WR. Which means he is an athlete and not a very good WR…that you can scheme up some plays for and maybe rotate him into the slot for them. And you would get his run blocking inside over Renfrow on occasion as well. Bryce Young just flat isn’t going to be a good fit for XL. He makes throw and catch challenging. Even when things are running “well” it’s a lot of tough catches and often touch catches to the sidelines where it extra hard.

He ain’t a leader. He forced to be one and that isn’t him.

The falcons game last year looks to have fooled me but I’m out. when this dude plays bad, he just looks like he doesn’t belong in the nfl, the same damn issues arise everytime, one turnover seems to tank his confidence, the amount of low passing yards he’s produce in his starts is clear evidence. bigger issues is me behind my virtual keyboard could see that, yet our front office decided not to bring in any real comp at qb this offseason or any season for that matter.

Give me late career Jake Delhomme stepping into sacks and throwing INTs into triple coverage all day over this bullshit.

Building a D around Evero has failed. I don't want to hear about how we are primed for 4-3 either. These guys haven't built jack on that side and I need to see these guys with at least a decent DC before I care about anyone outside of Brown and the 2 starting CBs. They O is playing well below their talent level. DC isn't good and his part in all this is garbage. Thankfully Tet isn't another XL but I can't even evaluate him beyond better than that dud with this level of QB play. Most of Young's check should automatically go to Chubba since he is doing all the real work. Much like with the D, the system blows but in thst side it's built around Young so it's not Shocker.

like i know people want a thing to be true, but it is infuriating that his defenders will pick an arbitrary point in time, declare that nothing else matters except what happens after that, and then ignore things within their own criteria that contradicts it. The same thing happened in his rookie season after the Packers game.

I've long said in the Tepper era the Panthers would literally he better off making major decisions via Huddle poll. As comical as that sounds and as terrifying as it is, it's just objectively true.

After the first couple weeks and prior years, I’m not super duper excited for the QBs coming out. I’m a Clemson fan and I want no part of Klubnik as our QB. Arch put up some stats against the juggernaut of San Jose State but he also had the same inaccuracy issue and damn it you shouldn’t be talked about as a #1 overall pick if you can’t beat a 7th round pick in your sophomore season. Allar is like his coach, terrible against good teams. Nussmeyer didn’t impress me last year or against Clemson, it was all dump offs and let my guys do the hard work. Maybe Sellers but even he didn’t look great against SC State. Personally, I’d love to get a haul from someone with a hard on for one of those guys. I don’t see a Stroud or Daniels in these guys but maybe there is a Nix or Maye.

I watched a lot of teams struggle yesterday that shouldn’t have. We’ve tried QBs with real game reps, Baker and Sam, we’ve tried RSO’s and neither has worked out. What we need is someone, regardless of label, that is just different, Sellers is! I’m not an SC fan but I watched it with a buddy, when Sellers runs he reminds me of Cam, we he flicks his wrist and throws it for 50 yards it reminds me of any starting NFL QB sans BY.

I don’t want Morgan drafting another QB.

The only bright spot is that TMac looks like a legit baller. He walked onto the field for his first game as a good NFL WR and will only get better.
