Solid is stretching it. Rozeboom frustrated the hell out of Rams fans. Not as bad as Reeder, but close. LB was a known issue going into this week and it showed in a huge way. And Wallace was a high ceiling but super raw LB prospect. Moehrig's slipups were surprising. But yeah, Evero's playcalling and personnel deployment is super annoying. He likes playing light in the box which is nonsense given who we brought into our front-7.

I actually think Tepper is trying to be more hands off than he was under Rhule & Reich. Unfortunately the dude keeps hiring bums like Canales...

I don't think our defense sucks as bad as everyone thinks it does. That doesn't mean they're good by any stretch, but they literally have no chance to win. None. Our offense is absolute dog poo led by a PS QB. You can play as hard as you want, but these guys have got to be demoralized as hell knowing if they give up a touchdown, in all likelihood the game is over. You're right, Cam would change this locker room. Cam's energy was infectious and he would never put up with the poo we're seeing now. It makes a difference when you believe you have a fighting chance to win. Get Bryce off the field. Dalton, Hooker, Plummer, hell straight up trade for AR at this point. Get him off this damn team.

it's not just the southern drawl, though. he just sounds like he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed overall and I think we are all seeing that play out on the field.

Everyone seemed to take a step back. XL blocked like a TE at times last year. The cornerback one on one blocking scheme up on the Chuba loss in the 3rd is a direct result of his good blocking. Then he goes as Stink put it and plays paddy-cake with the CB who busts into the backfield and disrupts the play! As we saw yesterday, he definitely lacks in the toe drag swag department. But yesterday everyone from Bryce to XL, and several defenders looked like they took a huge step back following a promising finish to the season. Let's bark as much fire as possible and hope things are going to get better in the short term. I have had this eerie feeling that we are going to be Snyder's Redskins for the next twenty five years since Tepper became the owner.

We traded our WR1 and what became 1.01 in a loaded QB draft for him. That being attached to his career makes it so much worse than it should feel.

Yeah, but he possesses the talent. Dude still has top end arm strength and can throw with anticipation. Not his fault Houston has decided to trot out the worst oline in the league in front of him (arguably has had the worst oline in the NFL in front of him since he was drafted). We drafted Bryce because we thought he had the processing ability of Brady. In reality, he has the processing ability of Jamarcus Russell

It's easy for us fans to toss the baby out with the bath water immediately. Tepper created a shitshow. He's been extremely quick to fire guys who aren't producing and continuing to have the same result no matter who the coach is. If Tepper goes full nuclear today, no one half way decent will touch the Panthers while he's the owner. That's just the reality, and @Tbe points it out well. You need to give these guys time to show their incompetence after you gave them all the rope you could. I think Morgan and Canales will get to draft a guy if Bryce continues to play like Sunday the rest of the season, but if there aren't early returns, then we could see it all blown up before the end of the '26 Season. I don't think anyone would fault him if year three, even with a rookie, goes terribly. That being said, Evero has been given more than enough opportunity. I'm tired of the excuses, this is year three. Either you get it, or you need to get out. I have no idea if Evero has any (coaching, he seems like a really sincere dude) redeeming qualities, but his time here hasn't been great.

i think if i wasn't getting laid off in a few weeks i would probably be more engaged. i just don't have room in my head for the kind of poo we've got going on. seriously, it would have helped me out if we could have this one year where we didn't suck just to give me something to look forward to. now it's just another negative thing i've got going on. i'd really just not bother with it anymore.

We should wait until next year unfortunately. The crippling choice would be using very valuable picks on this mess.

1 win on the road in 3 years. How many of those qbs had the draft capital spent on them and they still kept chances? All things considered he is a mega bust and simply not built for the nfl. Mentally or physically. And for the love of God Bryce please quit doing that stupid first down point when you are getting skull drugged.

I've given Canales some runway. Still will for about half the season to thoroughly judge, but the way he calls the run game is infuriating and vanilla. I don't think he wants or is trying to have a diverse running attack. Dan Morgan though...the 2025 draft looks promising but the 2024 draft returns look like a disaster. 1.01 - Caleb Williams/None (traded it for Bryce the year prior) Late 1st - traded up for XL (lol) Over - Keon, Ladd, DeJean 2nd - Traded around and took Brooks who was injured over Sainristil, Frazier, Kneeland, Rosengarten 3rd - Trevin - I'm finally willing to express some major concern but Rozeboom blows and doesn't help him At that point you don't need to look at the rest lol

I would kinda like to see what we got on offense with some sort of competent QB play. Like before Dalton went to poo, the whole offense looked completely different.

We couldn't get anyone after being tied to Young and pissing away too any picks...one a first overall. The entire he 'fires to fast so he had to settle' was always BS. It was because he wouldn't let Young fail and wanted to build around him so we ended up with the dregs at GM and HC. He in fact didn't fire either Morgan or Evero which has turned into the mistake. If he let so eone else come in and proclaim Young a mistake or bring in competition and not friendly Dalton than it would have been different options IMO. Those guys walked when they saw what Morgan and DC signed up for and that's why they are a high quality people.

100% it's ride or die with Bryce no matter what is happening. No way you can bench for multiple reasons. It's year 3. He has to figure it out but we know how this plays out it's just going to suck ass to spend another top 10 pick on an offensive player. A qb none the less

The talent isn’t great, but this has to be the worst top to bottom coaching staff I’ve ever seen. There are players here and there making plays out of shear heart, but it is only due to their individual effort. Horn and Chuba. That’s it. Not a single position group is even a little prepared to play. WHERE IS THE COACHING? It’s an amateur hour clown show. NOBODY knows wtf to do or how to do it. This is the basic stuff that is supposed to get ironed out in TC. I now 100% believe this is why Thielen wanted out. He saw the unprepared and unmotivated s-show all through camp and wanted no part of it. XL not even trying to block or come down in bounds??? That’s as basic as it gets! GTFO. Sadly, under Tepp, this team is THE no fly zone in all of pro sports for competent coaches. NOBODY wants to work for that dude. It’s the coach graveyard and Tepp is the undertaker. Position coaches by and large want to climb the coaching ladder so why in the hell would anyone worth anything come here? This team needed and still needs a GM/HC combo that Tepp would never feel comfortable hiring. Just imagine if we could have landed Harbuagh, Johnson or Payton. Our 2 SB coaches, Fox or Rivera, would have never been hired under current ownership. It starts at the top. My way or no way coaches need not apply here, sadly.

Let's not get too crazy here. There have been some pretty God awful QBs in NFL history that Bryce - even at his worst - is far better than. He at least has managed a handful of wins and some decent performances, like last year against the Chiefs, Eagles and Falcons. Just off the top of my head: JaMarcus Russell, Paxton Lynch, Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith, Johnny Manziel and that's just a handful of 1st rounders off the top of my head that were, at worst, no better than Bryce.

Tepper cannot get anyone worth his salt to work for him. Dave and Dan were his only options. Canales is what I thought he was when he was hired. He's a glorified Pelaton instructor that is just happy to be here.
