Either. Kinda early to make that decision.

Man get some help. Up at 7 am wasting keystrokes raging about CJ Stroud. He's got 3 playoff wins. We got zilch. Accept it and get over it.

2026 Panthers Free Agents… who you keeping and who can walk
Boxhead85 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Resign Coker, Moore, Tremayne, Nijman, BC, Curhan, Mays, Gipson, Cherelus, Rozeboom, Simmons, Martin, Jansen -
Said it last year as well and I’ll say again If we had drafted Stroud his 2023 season would’ve looked very similar to Young’s and I’m not sure he ever would’ve recovered. You saw some very concerning things last night as the game went on with footwork and pressure. The Texans have done a fantastic job of building around CJ and allowing for error given their defense. Last night was most likely a lot of people’s first time watching CJ this year. But once Slowik offense hit a wall so has CJ. Bobby Slowik absolutely cooked in 2023. A lot of open deep stuff for CJ which played to his strengths as he throws one hell of a pretty ball Its hasn’t been smooth sailing for CJ since that Bears game in 2024.

Bill Barnwell with encouraging words on the Panthers

Our biggest problem is that we’ve already spent a lot of resources at corner (horn), O-line (Hunt snd Icky - 1st round early pick), WR (XL and McMillan), and RB (Hubbard). Because of injuries and FA and XL, we have to compound investment in those positions again. Not good. -
2026 Panthers Free Agents… who you keeping and who can walk

It would be worth it. The entire line plays better when he’s in the game and I don’t see him getting worked game after game. I saw our old center Bozeman getting destroyed against the Patriots which was funny to see. -
Scott Fitterer was the worst GM in the history of the NFL and as a grown man if I saw him in an airport or something I would go up to him and tell him what an idiot he is for not trading Brian Burns for TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS AND A SECOND ROUND PICK. So glad that moron isn’t working for the Panthers anymore. Single handedly lead us into the gutter.

Carolina Panthers pick No. 19-2026 NFL Draft

Anthony Hill might be gone by 19 he is gonna destroy the combine. He’s an athletic freak and a great instinctual player. Source- I watch a lot of Texas football. -

Anthony Hill would be an excellent pick even in the first round. Dude gonna be a baller -
You named one guy out of hundreds every year. Yes sacks aren't the end all be all but they are field flippers and they end drives. When you need the ball back sacks are critical in getting off the field on 3rd down. You simply don't see many elite pass rushers that aren't first round picks. Look at the best sack artist in the league from to recent 90% of them are first rounders. The guys that are good at getting after the quarterback are identified Early.
-
Not denying that's a possibility but this sounds like he's the only available black coach in the league and under minds the improvements made on defense this past season.
-
Bring him on,the more the merrier!!
-
Yes..and it's sad. Can't stop talking about him in comparison to bryce.
-
Ryan is a defensive coach what do you think? the OC is also new but I guess that doesn't matter.

Sawyer Robertson QB Baylor 7th rd
-
It’s gonna sound awful but do not underestimate the amount of NFL teams that will want to interview him simply to satisfy the Rooney Rule. It’s a reality I am sure Evero and his team are acutely aware of.
-
We already have 2 young pass rushers who could be promising, no need to add a 3rd to the mix when we won't be getting a stud in the Top 5. We need to overspend and get the best pass rusher we can in FA, someone who can step in from week 1 and be a true impact maker and a leader for the young guys to learn from.

I am literally too stupid to understand advanced metrics and it makes watching sports sooooo much easier. -
I am not sure it should be a ‘sell out to go to the SB’ season. And hope they don’t think that. At the same time I was thinking you absolutely must find out if you want to pay for Bryce or not. That means putting it on him. No protecting and trying to hide weaknesses with the run game and super conservative calls. So I wish they would do it and find out, win or lose, 2026. No more developing. Time to do it. Let’s see once and for all.

Your Feelings on Bryce Through 3 Seasons? (POLL)
Montsta replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
My biggest fear with Bryce Young is that he will always do just enough to stick around. He shows flashes and then drops a turd so the hopium is always there. Like his career highlight reel if you cut it up to some hype music and did a YouTube video would actually be quite good. His great plays really, really look good. But after that video you look at his yearly averages for completion percentage, yardage, touchdowns, and virtually every other metric and it is meh as fug. Like you know Bryce is gonna be 13/23 for 157 yards a touchdown and probably a pick. I will 100% give him his flowers for his athleticism and ability to scramble outside the pocket. I haven’t seen the mythical “super processing ability” he was touted for per se, but he has shown flashes of absolutely elite awareness when it comes to scrambling. The little basketball move he does to shake defensive linemen has almost become a signature move. It’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it he stops on a dime and pivots like he is gonna hit a step back jumper and it has gotten him out of a lot of trouble. I sincerely, truly, as a vocal Bryce HATER, hope that since we are obviously running with him next year the coaching staff actually tailors plays around his strengths. He needs to be in a pure spread IMO. His size is much less of a hindrance when he can play QB in open space. I feel like most of his highlight reel is from scrambles and play action/bootlegs. -

draft me at 19 a lean mean tackling machine -
good then help Evero help the Carolina Panthers by investing in the defense ...just saying
-
No doubt. QB's under him tend to overperform. Do QB's under Ryans overperform?
-
Stroud was off at times but Panthers fans have got to be his biggest critics.
