  1. Past hour
  2. I think those silver helmets look great. The logo is fairly primitive looking but I understand why it is used. I can’t stand mono color combinations fwiw, the dayglo type blue top/bottom, I think looks like a cartoon. IOW not good. White on white is a classic look, no issue. That is about as much fashion content as I am comfortable posting. Maybe go to E or Bravo for this stuff.
  3. Remember when the NFC South was the toughest division (circa 2002-2006 when every NFC Championship game featured one of the four of us?)
  4. You are a fair point argument guy, but I disagree that Bryce got us out of that Miami hole. You know who Rico Dowdle is, right? Just a small quibble. IMO when I look at him and see his output in a typical game I imagine what he did that a replacement level guy wouldn’t or couldn’t have done. And I have trouble seeing much difference. So assuming they can’t replace him with someone’s backup, not everybody’s but there are guys sitting, assuming they can’t replace him for probably less money would potentially be an erroneous assumption. But based more on his relationship with the team and the guys making the decisions, the question of will they? I tend to see them sticking with him. I never wanted him at all. But after all the misery of the Bryce era so far, I don’t have a problem with waiting until the season is complete to decide. Bring it on, I can take it. So I am not ranting that he needs to go, although I have certainly done that and can’t say he has changed my mind to this point. He still could. We’ll see.
  5. Yesterday
  6. I just don’t understand this. We have classic, good looking uniforms.
  7. There is a former poster here that I know personally. He knew about the Derek Carr meeting, uni modifications we did, and a few other things. He has said that the Panthers are getting ready to move towards blue jerseys and black helmets being permanent with a white or blue helmet alternate.
  8. That might balance out because apparently the Texans O-line is ass. He did manage to throw for almost 300 yards the last two weeks though.
  9. Don't forget that Rhule actually took Tepper's offer to the Giants and they balked. He was just seeking the big payday which should have been a red flag. I have no idea how much time Tepper spends within the Panthers building. I do know that he in the past has been too much involved. He supposedly held weekly meetings with Reich. Then after firing Reich Tepper he held a press conference where he did virtually all the talking and made it about himself. Before that Tepper went out of his way to bloviate to the press about how he spoke to Bryce Young months before the draft and directly told him he wanted him to be a Panther. Then he went to the well of his selling point about Bryce being a point guard and we wouldn't need to invest in elite weapons. The guy thinks and talks like he knows what he's doing. At the end of the day the franchise has been in the gutter in large part due to he and his wife's involvement. It is what it is. Appreciate the convo.
  10. Unlike most of you, I do not assume the FO thinks he is beyond repair. For the first time since 2017 the Panthers have a chance to be in the playoffs. One more game will tie them for the most wins since 2018, 2 more wins will put them at 8 wins - the most in 8 years. Hate all you want but a big part of that success has come from Bryce. He got them in the hole with Miami but he got them out of it as well and was a big part of that win. Against Dallas, he played very well throughout the game plus he converted on a 4th down in the final minutes putting them in FG range for the win. He may not have had a good game against the Packers but he did convert on two 3rd down conversions in the final minutes to help seal the win and of course the Falcons game was his best yet. Tepper likes him and they have a huge investment in him as well. You don't just throw that away unless you have something concrete lined up behind him - which I just don't see.
  11. I don't think there is a "probably." The NFC South is about a 99.9% likelihood of being a 1 team playoff division. Not statistically, logically.
  12. I said a few days ago that I was starting to think that Kon was the teams best player and probably the best option to build around that the Hornets have left.
  13. Him being gone next year is a possibility if the franchise deems he is beyond repair and they attempt to garner some sort od return assets. I don't view this as very likely at all. The remaining games will determine his 5th year option, IMO. Even if we are lukewarm on him, we are likely to keep him on the roster next year.
  14. Yeah I'm pretty sure he asked for a trade last night. So he's likely out.
  15. I mean...the short answer is many. He is squarely a bottom 10% starter or top third of the pack #2 QB statistically. We all hope that changes but the career speaks for itself. He has been dramatically below NFL average.
  16. Part of the game when you're pretty much always either 1-9, 1-10, 2-8, or 3-8 at this point.
  17. This is about as incorrect as possible. Are you familiar with his career SO stats?
  18. Yeah, I mean he was not special in very, very, VERY favorable circumstances in college and he has not really looked like anything more than a JAG here. It's possible that changes but it's not really important as a lower round pick. If he becomes a competent returner then the pick was worthwhile.
  19. I changed it to better help the stans, I mean 22 yards is a big help when talking about BY passing yards.. How would you say leading up the the final drive has he played in 80% of those games? I wonder why we don't throw the ball much more, its very perplexing ...........
  20. Everyone can hate all they want, but Bryce will be here next year. The draft isn't good enough to go after anyone and I don't know of any QB that will be available that will turn the Panthers in a playoff contender. Do not be surprised when they sign him to his 5th year option.
  21. I liked Cam Newton. I wish his career wasn’t cut short cause he had potential to be a Hall of Famer.
  22. Black helmet, white jersey, black pants, socks and shoes would have been cool
