  1. Past hour
  2. Fitz was also 6-3, with a bigger body, and fantastic all timer at going up for the ball (not that 89 wasn't but again the god given size factors). That could of had something to do w/ the targets. Also, when times got hard, Larry Fitz was the same dude for his team. Easier option. just glancing at the pass attempts by teams, Carolina edged AZ years than the other way around. I give Evans the edge too. 89 more entertaining than both though w/ the ball in his hands and just in general.
  3. Ruiz is a known Bryce hater, and I despise using that word. He didn’t like Bryce as a prospect and he will die on that hill.
  4. Its really wild to watch this part of the community boil down the success of the 2025 Panthers to whether or not BY9 busts or breaks out. Ill take middle of the road mistake free game manager that distributes the ball and orchestrates the offense. If we can get that with a D that doesnt put us in a 27 point+ hole every week the team can improve. Id love a deep post season run but honestly at this point Id be ecstatic about feeling like we could win every week. Jake is never going to get a yellow jacket but damn if he didnt make watching the team fun. eta: I think too many people are looking for an I told you so moment over their pre-draft "evaluation" of Bryce

  6. I consider last year Bryce's rookie year.....and I expect some regression/D adjustment in his second season in Canales' O. Film is film. So yeah, I agree....he won't be the dude that opened up the year week 1 or closed the door week 17. We will get some dude in between it all most likely. Which IMO puts us in a really awkward no man's land with Bryce.
  7. The question is which Bryce shows up game 1. Do we get week 2 (2024) Bryce, or week 18 (2024) Bryce? I will say that his progression after the benching last year was amazing. He literally got better every game - sans Dallas. Like every week he did something we hadn't seen him do before. And it wasn't luck, toss it up for grabs plays like Penix did against Carolina. Penix was just throwing the ball as hard as he could in the direction of a receiver and hoping they'd make a play for him. What we saw from Bryce was different. Decision making, reading defenses, recognizing blitzes and where they were coming from, knowing his hot, avoiding pressure and manipulating the pocket, throwing with anticipation, taking shots downfield, and running the ball surprisingly well. Stats don't always tell the story. Did he miss some throws that he should have made - sure did. But the clutch gene is strong with this one. One score game and Carolina has the ball with 2 minutes on the clock - I'm confident he'll give them a chance to win more than he doesn't.
  8. I really like David Moore. He's a reliable WR. Smart, doesn't drop the ball and he's where he's supposed to be. Now, he ain't gonna route up a DB. He ain't gonna 50/50 ball a DB. He ain't gonna run by a DB either. But he runs a good enough route and catches the ball - definitely an NFL average WR. Every team could use a David Moore. Now if this receiving group can force Dan and Dave to let him go, then this team has come a long way since 2023. A LONG way. But I will say that Horn's speed is a big deal. They don't really have another guy with speed and quickness to blow the top off the defense and make guys miss in space after the catch, though he is still a rookie and hasn't done it in the NFL. If he and Renfrow push Moore out, then we might actually have something gents. Plus I see Renfrow as Thielen's replacement in 2026. I just don't think Coker is the reliable, move the chains guy like Thielen. Could be wrong.
  9. david newton still doesn't have a clue. how long has he been doing this?
  10. Don’t think Ayton fits the culture of this team.
  11. Next move for the Hornets should be signing Deandre Ayton... If we can somehow make that happen, we suddenly look like a serious playoff contender, if we can finally stay healthy!
  12. Not tendering Tre Mann a QO may change the way the Hornets feel about Sexton. Maybe they view him as LaMelo’s backup and plan on starting Kon with Green backing up Kon. So we’re currently looking at: G - Ball, Sexton, Simpson G - Knueppel, Green, Smith, James F - Miller, Williams, Okogie, McNeeley F - Bridges, Salaun C - Diabate, Kalkbrenner
  13. Newton probably didn't proofread what ChatGPT generated for him lol
  14. Tre Mann’s option was not picked up, he’s now an unrestricted free agent.
  15. A DT playing CB or vice versa would certainly qualify as surprising, that's for sure.
  16. A DT that can play any position in the secondary will be useful.
  17. I opened the article, scrolled down and the instant I saw the header saying he was a DT, I immediately knew it was Newton.
  18. Front office is killing it, and yall can not be serious wanting Ace Bailey, dude has BUST written all over him. I would be loathe to cheer for a player like him
  19. He just can’t be Svech in the Box 2.0 though
  20. Fixing games outright would be extremely risky as it requires too many parties to be in the know and any of them could blow the whole thing up. I definitely believe the NBA draft is rigged to a degree, and the refs can certainly push an agenda to influence whatever outcome they want, but not on some Black Sox type shi with teams knowingly throwing games. Like I'm sorry, but we just choked SB50. Officials letting defenses tee off on Cam was just business as usual. We lost primarily because the team because decided to play conservative for the first time all year. If we had our stuff together it would have never come down to the refs discretion.
  21. Go park in the lot beside the practice bubble. It's close and can cut the back way to the stadium on the sidewalk by the bubble. Like a 3 minute walk. Better be there before 9 am btw. It's easy to get out of because there are cops everywhere moving traffic.
  22. I like it! The only portion of the post that tempers my optimism.
  23. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45583046/nfl-2025-biggest-surprise-players-every-team-offseason#CAR Smith-Wade, CB/S/Nickel/DT
  24. I surprisingly like this pick, I think he makes the team as well in the next couple years.
