  2. If I get alerts on fuging Christmas Day for a post repeating something that was already warned on Sunday that's gonna be your last post. So if anyone else feels like posting dumb poo that you've already been warned about once (by a different mod) recently, be my guest. Other than that, Merry Christmas everyone!
  3. Cosell is Tucker’s hook. The main attraction. Yes he will pump him up. Cosell is normally pretty astute. He sees the thing with the confidence the team is gaining with the success. I don’t think he is under any illusion about the Bryce baseline when you disregard the late game efficiency, just knows it can work as long as Bryce keeps that up. Which I guess it can, but to really be a threat to go deep we will need a much better defense, and can’t let the talent around him drop off even a little.
  4. If you haven't figured it out by now then that's on you. He is a player that needs upgrading if you want to make a playoff run but you can build a team to drag that to .500.
  5. May your joys be as dominant as Derrick Brown. May your sorrows be as short as Bryce Young. And may all your worries be like Xavier Legette’s catches… rare, unexpected, and quickly forgotten
  6. Damn your old!! Merry Christmas brother!!
  7. Today
  8. to revisit and respond to this conversation on Christmas Day is another level.
  9. That stuck out to me, I took it as he thinks we have an offense capable of putting up 300+ air yards a game but not the qb designed to put up those numbers, yet still somehow they were optimistic about it. Especially this Ross Tucker guy trying to put a positive spin on every comment Cosell made
  10. Merry Christmas my Huddle compadres
  11. Correct turns out you're just wrong. Now you can
  12. I have no voice left. That place was electric!
  13. Boom feels like he has been neutered down under Rod. Chatty is a fighter but after that concussion, he seems slow and way less physical.
  14. This is great I hope Rico and Mike reach their goal this week
  15. Yep pretty much nailed it. He was the #1 overall pick for a reason and he’s starting to show why. Can he keep showing it into the end of next year or do we have to make a very difficult decision next season? Tbd
  16. Yes, although slavin only played with boom the one game. Then it was walker
  17. He's under contract. He'll be here to fight for another spot. I pray they bring in a veteran to push him, or even beat him. Of course rece8vers are always expensive, regardless of their ability. Not sure why Coker is in this thread.
  18. The coaches can't figure out what to do with BY9 much less Leggette
  19. There is a lot of talk about his IQ and his commitment to the game and this and that and no one can firmly say one way or another unless they are with him day to day. Not to mention the standards don't jive with the presented reasoning for defending Bryce Young’s rookie season and subsequent beginning of his sophomore season and third season to where we are now 40+ games as he is finally beginning to string together better QB play. When I think of Legette present day I think back to Ted Ginn being a pretty significant bust with the Dolphins as a 9th overall pick and then coming to Carolina (twice) and still struggling with the same mental errors on the field and Cam Newton going back to him again and again and again and even going to a Super Bowl with him as the #1 WR. Deactivating him is weak. Figure something out to his strengths for the rest of the season and reassess in the offseason.
  20. I think the season has been a success. I try to look back at what I said would be a successful season before week 1 and we have reached that. The success though has you wanting more haha. But we've had improvements and are right there fighting. Bryce has improved which was a big thing we needed. Hope we improves more obviously. But I agree with others about Evero, unless we have an offense putting up 30 points a game I don't like this type of defense he has. No pressure either. The biggest issues I see with this team are, zero pressure on the QB, soft zones, and the horrible special teams play on kickoffs/return coverage. So I wouldn't mind replacing Evero if someone better is available and definitely get someone new running special teams. When you combine Evero's defense and the fact we allow teams such good field position often it's a bad match. Overall, we have won 8 games which is crazy.
