Can anyone answer if the medical team who worked on his ACL are the same group that fixed Thomas Davis. Did a great job on his tear using a different operation that Brooks had done and he came back a beast after 3 tears. Brooks will be 24 next season and had lots of potential. How will this effect Dowdle and Chuba next year? Will they try and keep both of them and let Brooks walk? Or take another chance on the rookie? Opinions?

I have to admit I was somewhat excited during the waning minutes of Sundays game. However being around since the beginning of the win, then lose seasons of the Panthers and having fallen to our new low of no winning seasons, I have to temper my expectations with a I don't gaf attitude. It has cost me too many disappointments and low Mondays in the past not to. I have wasted way too much time watching this abysmal cluster of crap pro sports team. BUT, I am willing to be persuaded. Beating a few bottom dwellers lower than us and an occasional fluke win over better teams isn't going to do it.

I mean, Penix didn't look terrible last year in his limited snaps. And they were an 8-9 team that lost nobody of note and added a few other solid pieces before they made that trade. I don't think it's unreasonable for them to have expected to improve this season. There is no way they expected Penix to regress and for their season to implode as it has. Also don't think it's anywhere near the logic of the Bryce trade, we were nowhere near as the year before that as the Falcons were last year. We didn't have any offensive weapons close to Bijan or London. And they only traded one future first to take a pass rusher in the 1st, not trading away the farm to bet on a prospect the team at #1 could have used but decided to trade it instead.
