They replaced him with Stafford. Where you gonna find another Stafford and what do the Panthers have to give up to get him if he was even available?
-
Ok so now who you pulling for in the playoffs?

Pulling for the Rams to make it but lose just to show we went h2h with a super bowl team in the playoffs. Want the Bills to win. -
Not good. From the study on return to play: Essentially, 45.6% of players with that injury never return to NFL action. And nearly 80% of players didn't return within two seasons. https://ftw.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2025/08/07/rashawn-slater-tears-patellar-tendon-timeline-to-return-injury/85567450007/#:~:text=The overall RTP for PT,Featured Weekly Ad

After 2023 expectations were high because he had a new offensive minded coach. Came out 0-2 and benched. After the 2024 season he was riding high off the ATL performance and expectations were high. Came out 0-2. After making the playoffs at the end of the 2025 season, expectations are sky high to make it back. Most likely come out 0-2 again.

Dave Canales just confirmed in a press conference that Evero will be back next season. So there's that...

Canales just confirmed this in a press conference. Google says recovery timeliness is 6 months to 12 months but that's obviously for a normal person probably and not a gigantic football player Damn shame for Ickey Canales also confirmed that Evero will be retained as defensive coordinator in the same press conference for next year. Huge bombshell!!! Lot of people won't like that lol

At the absolute bare minimum, he appears to put in the effort and work that some other teammates ignore.

You will be lumped together with them ("Bryce stans"), by Bears and Texans fans no matter your own opinion. So why give them some success. I hope all other QBs except our future QB pick, busts. -

It sounds like you will happiest not watching any more games this year. See you next summer! -
Your Feelings on Bryce Through 3 Seasons? (POLL)

Initially put 6 off the high of yesterday being a good game for him but as I’ve thought to myself more I’m between 3 and 5 -

You said that when you made the point Canales is not the long term coach here. Am I missing something, that’s how you suggesting Canales will be gone after next season. Also using a complete hypothetical as an argument is utterly pointless, yeah if we win 5 games next season that would lower Canales long term coaching odds here. But, why would you assume a total regression this guy almost doubled our win totals from last season. Assuming a regression of 3 wins is a flawed argument. -
You people love to make poo up. It’s laughable.

When did I say that? What do you think will happen if we win 5 games next year? -

Yes naivety is wanting to returning to hiring and firing a coach every other year and can the second year coach who has shown continual progression! Sorry I didn’t get get the memo we should return to acting like the Browns and the Jets, that coaching ideology has clearly worked out for them -
I swear I saw echoes of Steve Smith out there when Coker made those catches. Not exactly the same player obviously, but Coker has that fire in him that can take over a game.

Hyper fixating on an isolated statistic is really revealing. The statistic I prefer is wins, overcomplicate whatever you choose. Also, once again context is incredibly important. The average age of an NFL team as a whole does not tell the actual story. We are young in key positions, QB,WR,DE,LB we are brought down by old backups like Andy Dalton and special teams players like JJ Jansen. This is a young team and it is far easier to project growth rather then regression. -

I'm not talking short term. I'm talking about after next year or beyond. If you think Canales will be the coach here in perpetuity you are pretty naive. -

The key of the playoff experience is more than the team gaining for next year. It also sets the president in free agency for players thinking the Panthers are building something.
