The flaw in this is that every athlete's body will respond differently. To think that he will bounce back and be just about like new is as incorrect to think he will never run again and a stiff breeze will send him to the ground. There is really no way to predict what the outcome will be.

You really don’t want to come out with new uniforms when you’re bad lol. I’m guessing that’s why they pulled it. You want the association with the new look to be positive. Appreciate the inside baseball

It also means we are winning close, 1-score games. On 1 hand that can be a sign of growth and a team learning to find a way to win. Negatively, it is a team getting fortunate bounces, and is typically not sustainable. See this year's Chiefs compared to last season.

We saw this with Foxball. Run the ball and stop the run usually creates close games. When a team has major advantages we get blown out.

Parity in the league is out of whack. I think there are a lot more bad teams than there used to be. They play each other and the games are close. They play upper echelon and the difference shows up on the scoreboard in the form of blowouts on occasion. As to the OP we have to try and play those better teams close and sometimes we can. It means making a it low scoring game. Basically if you want more points the QB has to play better. Some weeks he doesn’t play very well.

It tells you that we've won quite a few close games while taking some real ass kicking in some of the losses.

I’ve said it before. Panthers are neither a good nor a bad team… which is a GIANT leap forward from 2 seasons ago. They’ve gone from an embarrassing, unwatchable curb stomping on an every week basis to glimpses of competitive football and a team with actual, legit talent. Ickey, Hunt, Chuba, Rico, Tet, Coker, Moton, Lewis, Brown, Moehrig, and Horn would be legit starters on most NFL teams, so half of our starting roster. I’d dare call the special teams good this season. In 2 years that’s incredible. With 2 more offseasons and drafts like this last one, even a journeyman QB takes this team to the playoffs. Let them kill it on the first 2 picks in the next couple drafts and find a late round gem. That’s huge. I don’t think the current team is as good as its record, but I’m enjoying the ride.

Terrible news if true. That silver helmet looks awesome to me, and this fan base takes it for granted. it especially looks great when we play teams like the niners, saints, and Bucs. That silver clashing with the other metals looks awesome on gameday

I know it can’t be done, but taking out the NE and BUF games turn that differential around. Those two games alone count for a -60 point differential for the Panthers. The only other loss that was a bit out of hand was the Jacksonville game, which had a -16 differential, and the first ATL win was a +30. All in all, a few lopsided games but most have been close. All it says is the Panthers aren’t dominating teams when they win, and they have a complete dud of a loss every few games.

And a negative scoring differential. We have scored 207 points for, and 249 given up. Tells me a lot about this team, some of it good more of it bad. My questions are why do we think that is? And what can we do differently to start winning more games by a wider margin. It does feel like we are much more competitive this season and for that I am grateful. We are going in the right direction. But what pieces could we add to help us be more well rounded. What can we do to score more points on a regular basis? All speculative obviously, and more future thinking than now because we can’t change what’s already happening. But these numbers worry me a bit for our playoff hopes, because the NFC North, and the West have some pretty good teams and I could see both of those divisions sending two teams to the playoffs. Just thought that was an interesting number when it caught my eye. What say you, you ole miserable panther fans?

Just want to add that this is invaluable experience they are getting. It often takes more than one try. Whether or not they succeed this time, they will have it to draw from next time. So it is a positive however it turns out this one time.

No matter what…I didn’t expect to be relevant and in playoff talks this late in the year. Very surprised. Just treat every win as a bonus and keep building on that from last season, this team is trending up.

What you credit him for were good plays. I refer you to the thoughts of another QB out there being tasked with that situation. Were they plays only he could make because of a unique skill set or ability, compared to another QB? Is it possible someone else of marginal NFL skill level might have made those completions? This is the thing. You might reply that his intangibles come into play, his clutchness for example. I am saying it is fair to wonder if maybe another QB converts on third down and we don’t need a 4th down conversion. Or another guy makes the same throws and the train keeps rolling. Stuff like that. Where do you draw those lines? And if you don’t get a clear answer of Bryce could do that and another guy similar in skill set or maybe with a better arm could not, then do you pay him huge multiples of millions?

From my understanding of the situation we can’t make any changes for a few years bc the recoloring of the blue counts as a uniform update. I do know from my guy that: - we were supposed to get new uniforms a few years back but the team hesitated and pulled back on the process - the updated blue on the jerseys and the black helmet were a part of that update that never happened - if a change happens it won’t be until after our 2028 Rivalries set drops - ownership is actually pretty fond of the silver. They started to included it more in CFCs identity
