  1. Past hour
  2. Some of that stuff shows itself along the way. That is not doing your due dilligence during the process. Being a nutter should have raised it's ugly head. But, that relies on people around him telling you the full story too.
  3. As far as having a plan for bryce, in reichs defense, he wanted to sit young but was overridden. Reich isnt some McVay level genius but he is a competent nfl coach if the owners would leave him alone
  4. 2nd and 3rd round picks aren't quality picks? Just because we suck at drafting doesn't mean we haven't picked defensive players. Everyone or at least me wanted Payton Wilson and we picked Wallace instead
  5. Who is a bigger bust than Bryce Young? Who??? For the aggregate cost paid vs value gained, he is, by far and away, the biggest draft bust in maybe the history of sports.
  6. Except Reich showed what he could do with a guy like Luck. You can’t always make chicken salad out of chicken poo. This seems pretty self-serving…. Maybe some early campaigning and excuse making for Arch from Peyton. Because on the flip side, the argument has to be made, either a guy has it, or they don’t. Even with turnover and bad coaching, you see enough flashes of greatness that you know “this guy is going to be good.” Bryce doesn’t have that.
  7. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6602281/2025/09/11/nfl-backup-qb-inside-mentorship-jimmy-garoppolo/ Life as a backup NFL QB is a mental and emotional whirlwind by our old Panthers friend Jourdan Rodrigue. It doesn't mention Dalton, but it gives a better idea of what Dalton's role has been in working with Bryce and what the QB like is like week-by-week. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6584516/2025/09/02/nfl-first-round-quarterback-busts/ The bust files: How NFL teams break young quarterbacks Peyton Manning goes on to have comments about Bryce:
  8. Things like that go beyond difference of opinion. It's simply living in an alternate reality from the rest of us.
  9. Over or under 4.5 losses in a row before Canales drops the Mr. Nice Coach act?
  10. Garage time = Any time Young is behind center taking the snap in a Panthers game. That's any time and regardless of the score.
  11. David Tepper has openly called his critics within his own fanbase basement dwellers. I assure you unfortunately he does not give a single fug about the fans concerns. He and his wife are going to do as they please good or bad until the team is sold. It's unfortunate but that's the reality.
  12. The escapism is really what's missing. I actually do think Bryce's awareness and ability to improvise on broken plays is above average--better than when he's throwing in the pocket because it forces the recievers to get seperation and within his line of sight. If he could scramble in the backfield like Seattle Russ until someone got open I believe he'd have the tools to be a franchise QB even with his noodle arm. He did that in college but it hasn't translated to the pro level.
  13. You’re right, again on X, that’s what’s being said. Anyone who actually watched could tell that the Cards defense was different in the second half…until the game was on the line the last drive, then they went into first half mode.
  14. The version of Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay now was never going to be that here. He got a very heavy portion of humble pie both with the Browns and us. That was a driving force in changing his career. And at the end of the day the Bucs are unfortunately a well ran organization. But Baker had already flashed his physical gifts and potential even with the lowly Browns. He just had to get out of his own way and drop the immature meathead crap. Too bad for Geno Smith and Pete Carroll. That wall comes fast. They are both past their expiration date. And as of recently some of Geno's comments sound like a guy rather full of himself. The league will be glad to humble you.
  15. Today
  16. I was hard against that trade. My red line is you don’t trade future 1st round picks. You just do not ever do that. That is what Hurney did that turned me against him. All I know is everything I watched with Young playing football screamed to me, do not buy into this he can’t succeed against NFL talent.
  17. fug his accent. That's bought him extra time here for a couple soundbites
  18. Caleb Williams isn’t looking so hot either, even with the illustrious Ben Johnson as his head coach. QBs taken early bust all the time. It was the trade itself that was incredibly stupid.
  19. For 3 years we signed and drafted poorly. Now PS guys from other teams have more upside. LoL
  20. Here is the new narrative ladies and gentlemen
  21. Lol I was working from the other direction, thinking they could attach antennae to their helmets with a lil flag at the top he could just throw to the flag.
  22. I guess. For me I am a layman football scouting wise. I know nothing really. But just 10 minutes of critically looking at Young via videos showed it to me. I don’t think Leaf, for instance, would have been easy that way. He had the prototypical stuff. To know he would bust, you’d have to have the skill to dissect his mental potholes. And probably some one on one time with him.
